YorkieTalk Newbie! | Yorkie Toys Help someone. My almost 1 yr old Kobi chews up and tears apart and eats every toy I have tried. Do all Yorkies eat hard plastic, rubber, rope, leaves, etc. Eats ears and arms off all furry flat toys too. Is there a toy out there that is indestructable for a Yorkie? |

No Longer a Member | I'm pretty sure that I'm Rizzo's favorite toy but anything that I can throw and that he can pick up and chew he seems to like. Plush toys are his favorite, but he also doesn't destroy them like some dogs do... |

No Longer a Member | Have you tried just the plain ol' rope toys? Tug-o-war is one of Rizzo's favorite games, he really likes when he wins. If he does start to get destructive with one of his toys I take it away from him. Anything made out of the Kong material seems to hold up really well, and I found a rope toy that has that in the middle. If Rizz is in a chewing mood I play with him using that, let him win and he chews on that for a while. Maybe your little one just has some excess energy, try some fetch or a game of tug then let him play alone with his toys. |

| Jackson's not big on most toys but he LOVES the Cuz Ball Dog Toy. I got him a small (he's 15lbs) and after a week, he put a hole in it. Poopy head. He loved that toy too... it's a rubber squeaky ball with little legs and devil looking horns LOL. I'm buying him a new one soon and gonna get the medium size one! But it's rubber and pretty tough, I'm surprised he chewed through it. Kong has some pretty tough toys too.

| Mine like small furry toys that they can fit two at a time in their face. As long as they squeak. I buy those ones that you can put replacement squeakers in. BUT, their absolutely most favorite toy is each other. I have no idea what they would do alone. They play tag, chase, keep away.. They actually do with no other toys as along as they have each other to play with. So, another Yorkie is the best toy!!!

| Mine love anything that squeak or crinkle. I like crinkle MUCH less annoying than squeaking. Dog toy makers really don't care about the owners/fur mums and dads . Petstages are AWEFUL toys for chewers. Puzzle toys are amazing!!! The Nina O ones. Beanie baby dog toys (after I kill the squeaker) are AWESOME! Durable and loved ... mine sleep with them. Ropes and balls are great but only if mommy and daddy throw, play tug. I want to try the hide-a-squirrel. |

| I've gotten so many toys for Ellie but the one thing she really loves are stuffed plushie toys with the squeakers so I always get her a lot of those. She can entertain herself for hours with that. I also like to get her toys that help her relieve her chewing. She seems to like the rope toys and nylabones. She's so small that she never really manages to tear up the stuffed toys so they last a long time. The only reason I throw them out is b/c they don't really recover from being washed. |

| I take a paper towel tube and cut it in half. I wedge one of his rubber squeaky balls in the end of it and then a couple of small treats inside the tube. I block the other end with a small soft animal toy. Copper has the best time working to get the treats out. I sometimes have to pick up pieces of paper towel tube later, but that is no big deal. And when the next paper towel roll is empty, I have 2 more new play treat toys, free!

| My yorkies love the little squeeker toys that are easy to squeek. They will go around holding the toy in their mouths and squeek them non-stop! lol! It's funny at first, but then when you get all 4 going with sqeekers, it starts to get crazy! |
