| Little Toys vs Big Toys I have 2 Kerry Blue Terriers (37 & 33 pounds), and a number of larger dog toys. When I got Dante (now 16 weeks, 3 1/2 pounds), I assumed I'd need to buy some smaller toys. Little did I know! Dante's favorite toys are the very large ones, including a musical octopus that has to weigh twice what he does. He drags it around, and humps it, as well as biting at it. Anyone else have a tiny dog who loves big toys? |

| Yes! Piper loves Duke's toys. The balls she carries around are literally as big as her. |

| Not having had a dog before I had no toys or knowledge of what to buy for him, Sprocket came with some small chewy chase balls that were the cat type, after he destroyed them I went looking for more and found the dog ones that were more sturdy, like small tennis balls. But the best toy I EVER got was again a cat type toy, you know the small laser pointer chase beam thingy? Well I bought one at petsmart for less than $5, it came with extra batteries and it even tires out my very active little guy. He runs and chases the "light", til he just falls down tired. Best money I ever spent to be sure.

| Mine likes bigger toys too If his small rope bone is out next to my friend's Great Dane's rope bone, he ALWAYS goes for the bigger one. I rarely buy him the smallest toy size. For some reason, my crazy boy likes to carry around plush toys that are as big as he is!

| Yes my two smaller yorkies play with big toys and I prefer it that way I'm not so scared they will swallow a small piece.

| This toy was twice Basil's size and lasted 7 minutes. He's CRAZY about big toys, but he thinks that he has to "kill" them!

| Harley LOVES the huge toys... he has a Harley Davidson bone that is almost as big as him (it was as big as him when I bought it), and he loves his pillows (he has a bunch of different sizes) he loves to try and throw them, even when they are bigger than him. He drags them around everywhere... The best is when he gets one in his mouth and is running, and tries to jump on the couch with it... doesn't matter how many times he fails... he still gets a run on... leaps, and the pillow/toys haul him back down.... silly pup.

| Here's Dante and his octopus: Most of his other favorite toys are also large - longer than him, like the water bottle cover toys. And his VERY favorite toy is his "big brother" Riley, a Kerry Blue Terrier who is learning to play very gently with his 4.5 pound "little brother." |

| After Penny destroying tons of small dog toys, we bought her a larger loofa dog that's twice as long as her as a gag. Its her favorite toy and has held up longer than any of the small toys we bought her. |
