| He has way too much energy!! Hello again! Alright well MuShu has so much energy. We went walking for an hour, uphill, and when we got home he was jumping and going crazy!! I thought that he might get a little tired, but instead he wanted to play and run around more! I need to groom him more often, but I can't do that if he's hyper all the time. What can I do to drain his energy?

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | well he is still a puppy after all...so what would suggest with grooming is to start out slowly....eventually he will get use to it and calm down when he is getting brushed out and what not...mine did...good luck!

| Hi There! We also are running into a little...well LOT...of hyperactivity after a walk or long day of play. With Tarquin, it seems that he is "over-tired" and if we don't engage him at play after exercise he will run and jump and do full speed circles around the rooms and make a flying leap to his bed and fall asleep! It's actually the cutest thing :-) He does this very often when he is tired....bed time is the worst :-P But, they are puppies and like children, don't want to miss out on any opportunities for fun! Actually, what seems to work well is picking him up and holding him while rubbing his ears and telling him he's a good boy...falls asleep almost instantly in my arms. Hope you guys can find a cool down routine that works for you! Have a great day. |
