| Hamoth, it's your fault I spent $50 at That Pet Place! I was reading Hamoth's post about the grunting rat and was laughing so hard my co workers thought I was losing it! I totally understand the murder crime scenes! Anyway, I only live about 50 minutes from That Pet Place and I just had to go! I ended up spending $50! I bought one of the rats and the marmot, but there was another one that was cute too. It was a pretty good size cow. It grunts like the rat and has crackly stuff in it, plus a squeaker in the nose and at the end of every foot. I didn't mind spending the money, I had actually cleaned out the toys the other day and decided they needed new ones. I gave my Jack Russell the cow and OMG, she is panting so hard from shaking it around!! She is having a ball! My Yorkie, Indy, on the other hand could care less about the rat, but is dragging around the huge heavy duty squeak toy that I bought for my shepherd. Go figure! I'm saving the marmot for after the timely death of either the cow or the rat, whichever comes first! Indy did enjoy That Pet Place though. They allow you to take your pets in and he had a good time checking everything out. |

| Heheh...I'm sure that your pup doesn't mind at all! Actually thinking of making my own squeeky toys soon. Now that I have a decent ladder stitch and I know how to close them up after I piece them togther. I can make them so that they are stuffed with popcorn so that it's o.k. when he rips them open and I don't see. Then I make custom 100% safe large-scale chew toys for my little guy...I'll keep you all posted as to my progress. |
