Woodys by hyper products I just came across a chew toy...and it seems weird to me...it is made of wood and says it's safe...I am curious if anyone has any experiences with this product or anything similar...I THOUGHT WOOD COULD BE HARMFUL WITH THE SPLINTERS....

A wood chew toy does seem really strange. I would be scared for the same reason you are- splinters. Plush I don't see why chewing on wood would be a good thing, there are many other better chew toys out there.

Yes...I here ya...well I noticed that my guy seems to "steal" some of our wooden kitchen tools and loves to chew them(of course I take them away)...so when I saw this I was curious. I just have a hard time finding things he likes. The items he likes are either bad for him (rawhide, lambs ears, etc.), or he has responded poorly to...like nylabones the lastic ones...he chewed them off in pieces and threw up later....so anything for "Rough" chewers he is uninterested in....AHHHHHHHH I know about bullly sticks but they stink and it gets him so messy I just don't like those things...anyhow...that is why I was curious about the wood!

Have you tried a himalayan chew? They are durable and are supposed to be tasty for dogs. I haven't done a lot of research on them yet, but they have come highly recommended by many people I know. My all time favorite thing though for dogs to keep them busy is to freeze peanut butter in a kong and give it to them. They love it and because it s frozen it takes them longer.

POOCHIEHEAVEN!!!!THANK YOU! So I got the Himalayan chew last night...and I opened it and gave it to him and he lovd it! In fact he did not stop chewing it for 3 hours!!!!!!I finally took it away because I want to monitor him the first few days and make sure he doesnt react weird to it or get diarrhea.. so far so good and it is barely getting chewed up so it seems like it will last long! Well worth the price...My favorite is that it is all natural, no preservatives, and isn't too messy or smelly!!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

That is great to hear! I have heard so many great things about them and haven't tried them on my dog has he is not a chewer (ie bully sticks get more interest from the cat then him ). I also love that they are all natural and good for your dog, I wouldn't feel as guilty feeding them. Keep my updated! Jenny
