What toys do you leave them when they're alone?

I bought the HideASquirrel somebody talked about on here. Isabel didn't care much for it but Moses took right to it, but the other night when I was on the computer in another room, I heard him whining and went to check and he had his head stuck in the trunk! He looked so funny, but so pitiful. When he heard my voice, he tried to run to me and hit the footstool. So, I don't dare leave that out for them when I am gone. What if he got stuck at 10:00 in the morning and I don't get home til 6:00? So, they get the squirrels while we are gone, just not the tree trunk.

OMG - I laughed out loud when I read your post! Of course you are right - it would obviously not be good if that had happened when you weren't home!! I still haven't gotten one of those hideasquirrels but am curious to see if Buster & Bailey will like it when I get one for them. My pups started chewing on the wall today (we found some chunks gone when we went home for our lunch break today) so I am at a loss on what to do. They have plenty of toys, but they still seem to get bored. They definitely do NOT sleep all day. They have pulled out a lot of the stuffing in a pet pillow I bought them too (dug a hole & chewed it out) - URGH!! Needless to say, they got locked in their crate before I came back to work this afternoon (instead of being let loose in their "play pen" which is about 10ft x 10ft) since I didn't know what they would continue to do to my walls and there were lots of wall pieces on the floor that I have to clean up!! Little stinkers - they are so mischevious!!

Just a note about the hide-a-bees, squirrels etc. I would never leave them with it alone. The little bees, squirrels etc, that go in the nests, are all stuffed.They can tear those apart and choke on them.

We had the hide a bee, and April would stick her head in it the empty nest for fun, but I always was in the room when they played with it.

One day Nappy and AprilLove were playing with the hide-a-bee (they had 3 little stuffed bees) and I was on the computer. After about 1/2 hour I turned around and saw they had done open heart surgery on the bees!!! LOL

It was scary because Nappy had a whole chunk of that white stuffing in his mouth. I couldn't imagine what would have happened if I wasn't home to take it away

Needless to say, I don't leave any toys out for them when I am gone. They have each other and sleep the whole time anyways.
I've watched my guys on web cam when I leave them at home, and they sleep....
I would love to leave toys, but anything can happen and I don't want to risk it, I especially won't leave anything to chew on, bully stix, etc. They get plenty of all that when mommy is home with them and the toy box is usually emptied out every evening and all over the house, lol
