| What do you do with seasonal dog toys? Do you pack away seasonal dog toys? Roxy has sooooo many Christmas toys, and as I watch her carry a Santa Claus around, I wonder if I should pack him away until next season. She has tons of toys, and just yesterday she was rooting around in one of her toy boxes pulling out a couple toys she hadn't played with in awhile.

| We don't personally do this but I know a lot of dog owners only leave out a couple toys at a time and then rotate every couple of weeks. That way, the old toys feel like "new" ones! I would probably do this with seasonal toys if we had them but mine are so picky about toys.. we don't have that many.

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | We leave them out. Depending on when they get the seasonal toy & how often they play with them, they can be pretty chewed up by the end of the holiday & not worth packing away. Or in the case with my Toby, there's a good chance they'll be lost out in the yard until spring since he can't seem to go outside without a toy in his mouth. Sometimes he brings them back in, but I've found a few lying outside a few times too. If you've got plenty of others for them to play with, and the holiday ones are in good condition, then you may as well pack them away. But then again, you know you're probably going to end up buying them more new ones next year anyway, so......

| That is a good question! I leave mine down, because some of their favorites are a gingerbread man and a christmas ball! |

| I choose to just leave them all down. Whatever my furbaby wants to play with, she'll just go, grab it and have a ball. |

Glad to know Roxy isn't the only one who thinks she has to carry a toy out every time she goes out! I have found them in the yard - and in the summer several have been eaten by the lawnmower!

| We don't put away any of Lilly's toys... although, sometimes we have to retire some to the garbage can . She has a laundry basket full of toys down here and another one upstairs full in my sewing room. However, my boyfriend's boss' wife puts her Yorkie's Christmas toys up and waits 'til Christmas to get them back out. We were over there when she was boxing them up and poor little baby was whining wanting them back .

Not sure Roxy would even miss a few.... But she almost had one packed away a few days after Christmas! We were at my parents in Florida for the holidays and my dad was taking down the tree. He carried the tree up to the attic, and as he went to put the tree in the box in the attic, out feel Roxy's stuffed Christmas stocking that she received in the GE! -- I would have been the one going crazy looking for it to pack back up for the trip home!

| Okay, Winston has numerous Christmas toys that are put away after Christmas and brought out again the following year. These are seasonal, like a Santa, reindeer and bell. He's got a gazillion toys, he really doesn't mind...and seems to look forward to having them out each year as I put up Christmas decorations. So...if somebody bought you a Christmas decoration for Christmas, would you keep it up all year? I don't think so...
