I accidently ordered the medium instead of small but it is actually a great size for her. I had the treat that comes with it on one side and put some other treats in the other. The yorkie yummies she was able to get out pretty quick but I also had some venison treats in there and they were too big to just fall out. She is 2.5 and I have never heard her cry. Yes, she wimpers here and there...when she wants something.. when she had a belly ache from swallowing a huge treat instead of chewing the way normal furrkids do...when she caught her foot under the door she wimpered for like 2 secs.. I cried for like 10 mins. BUT WHEN SHE CANT GET A TREAT OUT SHE SCREAMS AND CRIES!!!! I wish I had taped it... I guess I could do it again and tape it but the sounds still haunt me so I wont. Guess Ill be ordering more of the treats that come with the ball...

Tricksie was the same way in the beginning, I put the treat for the ball in one side and then put in some smaller treats in the center. Your baby is spoiled.

Yep I learned to only put YY's in it. Ill have to buy more of the round treats it comes with to stick in the ends but boy are they expensive!!! She went through one in basically 3 days and I only give it to her for about 2 hrs a day!

Just a thought.. would a wee bit of peanut butter put well inside the ball maybe give her a sense of getting the treat and still be interested in what's inside. I always train my younguns to use that kind of toy by adding peanut butter so that their little tongues can just barely reach it. I always thought dogs were born to love those kinds of things, but, noooooo, not my critters. My young pups/dogs love to play with empty water bottles. Keeps them busy for hours and they roll it around the floor like a cat. Plus, they love being able to see inside the clear plastic. Boy, are they cheap dates...LOL
