| ![]() Right now it's the Puppy Kong. Before I leave in the morning they are waiting at the pantry door because they know they are going to get a dried chicken strip and the Kong filled. I fill it with their favorite Mother Hubbard tiny little bones. I put some broken pieces in it too like Beth said. When they get tired of that they have this long toy that they can play tug of war with and it squeeks on each end. Other than that....they love wrestling around with each other.

| ![]() Catnip mice. The soft ones in animal print you can find at Petsmart. Tbone is OBSESSED with them. All I have to do is throw 2 or 3 new ones on the floor every week and he is all over them. He even steals them from my friend's house that has cats. We discovered he liked them when he stowed away a few from her house and brought them home. The only way I can REALLY get him to give me peace and quiet for a few hours though is to take him on a long walk and he will pass out happy and content.

| ![]() My little girl is weird about playing. If I'm on the floor with her, she'll play with everything. The minute I stand up, she stops playing. She won't lay and chew any of the myriad of chew toys etc. It gets frustrating at times, despite how much I love the little soul. (She'll run like the Dickens with a dryer sheet stolen from the laundry room, or a sock or other item she shouldn't have! Those are always the most amusing to her!) I keep trying to encourage her to play with things on her own, but she's fussy about that. Her Kong will only keep her going for 2 minutes -- she's too good at it now, lol! I may have to try freezing yogurt in it though as she really likes yogurt. Great idea!

| ![]() It's the talking lips I got at Petsmart last valentines day for Holly. For both dogs it is the babble balls, I just can't stand the noise for more than a few minutes between the ball talking and the dogs barking at it!

| ![]() Max loves his laces. He will roll around and play with them for about 20 minutes. He will play w/new toys for about 30 minutes. I read on another post if you hide a toy and then bring it out a week later, they play w/it like it's new. It works! ![]()

| ![]() Hey - when we had only one dog it was a constant concern to know that we were giving enough attention and exercise etc. We never found a toy that would keep him busy all the time, but getting another Yorkie met his needs very well. We can give the dogs the most wonderful life imaginable with toys, food, care, love and warm places to nap. Still, we can't provide what they naturally desire - companionship with their own kind. Imagine if you were raised by a family of Orangutans. They give you great care, they play with you, share the bananas and keep you well and warm. Despite their greatest efforts, at some point you are still going to want to be around other humans. Dogs are pack animals. They learn, discover, live, enjoy and play best in a pack. We now have three Yorkies where five years ago we had only one. It is impossible to explain how calm, gentle and happy our dogs are with a fairly balanced mixture of daddy, mommy and puppy love. When we had one dog, he was prone to any number of behavioural issues - all of which went away when the second Yorkie arrived. |

| ![]() Kayla likes the remote control, my house shoes, her daddy's socks and my bra's. She will grab anything before it hits the floor. They have 3 toy boxes and nothing interests her long. Oh, and my earrings when she can get them. |

| ![]() Dolce love her bouncy ball. we actually got them out of a coin machine at a restraunt. It was .75 cent and about the size of a golf ball maybe slightly bigger. She will play for hours with it. She actually has learned how to throw and chase it herself. and when she does this in the kitchen where its a hard floor and it bounces.......OMG she goes nuts! It hysterical to watch. |
