| The Aflac rep was in my office a few months ago and gave me a small stuffed duck that screams "Aflac" over and over when you squeeze it. I took it home to my Bailey. She loves this toy so much we have to hide it after a while! It's the most anoying sound ever! It sounds just like the TV commercial. She will clench it tight in her teeth so that it keeps repeating. Ahhhhh! Why does she love this so much!!!

Now dieter will even wrapy them up in the blanket. And I love to watch him to that.

| I will go to the Dollar Store and get one. I am trying an old, thin pillow case now. Do you have a video camera? Would love to see pics.

| Sarge's favorite toys are empty water bottles. He snaches them off of the coffee table and throws them around for hours. My fiance sells ladies shoes and he always has thos elittle nylon footies in his pockets, so one day I tied a bunch of those together in tight knots and it kept him busy for quite awhile. Isn't it funny that "free" toys are the most fun?

| Love the blanket game. I take old blankets and hide several squeak toys in it. Put it in the floor and let Rusty dig the toys out. Also buy a child's ball (big enough that the yorkie can't get the ball in his mouth) This ball runs Rusty nuts! He runs his tongue all over the ball and whines and cries and chases it all over the house for hours. I have to take the ball away and hide it to make him rest. Eventually the ball will lose enough air so that he can bite it. Rusty is very pleased with himself when he can bite the ball. Also hide your hand under the bedspread on the bed and have the yorkie pounce on the "mouse on the bed". Move your hand around and the yorkie will dig and play bite.

| Spike had all of his toys in a laundry basket to keep them tidy, but this week I got them all out, dumped them on the floor, and divided them up into four smaller baskets that I'm going to rotate once a week. That way, he'll get a week with each toy, and then not see it again for three weeks. The only exceptions are his kongs, which he loves, and which really keep him busy, and his laser pointer, which I originally bought for the cat, but which Spike loves as well. Spike also really likes wine corks. Not the traditional cork wood ones, but the new ones that are made of hard rubber. He chews them for hours. I just take them away when they start to break apart so he doesn't swallow the pieces. It takes him a while to get them like that, though! |
