| Tricksie/Pitbull I have posted a lot about Tricksie eating everything, everlasting treat balls, kong toys etc. I don't know how much money I have spent to entertain this baby and it is destroyed in minutes. Order mostly on line so when the mail comes in a box she knows that it is for her and she walks on her hind legs until I open it. My "LAST" order, (unless someone comes up with something new),was the Merrick Flossies and within 30 min. she had eaten half of it so I took it away, the next one was the Tuffie's Seacreatures, it is twice her size, with eight legs. Did not take long before I saw threads coming out so I put it in the closet for her to rest and she was watching me but she was exhausted. About 4 hours later I heard her "ruff, ruff, growling, crying", she was trying to get in the closet to get the creature out. This morning she remembered where it was and started again so I got it out and we played, I threw it on the floor and she tried to climb her stairs to get on the sofa with it but that didn't work, finally she got it in her mouth and backed up the stairs to get it on the sofa. We still have the BullyStick that I have not given her yet. She keeps me so entertained and hope this is not boring to you guys. Donna

My furkids Donating Member | Hi Donna! First time I have seen on here!! LOL! I give the girls bully sticks too. I do watch them with them though because even though the are small they can really chew them quite quickly...I usually throw them away when they get to be about 2 1/2 inches long. I try to buy the fatter ones...they don't seem to chew them down as fast. Maybe you could try one for the bigger dogs? If it is too big for her to hold on to maybe you could cut it in half?...I have done this before...have to use a saw to cut them.

| Tricksie/Pitbull I will try the Bully Sticks for bigger dogs, thanks for the suggestion. This seacreature was for bigger dogs but she is doing a good job chewing it up. Almost $18 and it has to go in the garbage.

| I'm the owner of an actual pit bull, so I know how tough dogs can be on toys! My best suggestion, at least what worked with Laney was I went to the dollar store, BIg Lots, Walmart, etc and got a BUNCH of cheaper toys at one time. When she had more toys she didn't concentrate on tearing them up. Plus if one does get torn up, it was cheap so I don't mind. Now btwn all the dogs we have over 100 toys (seriously, I counted). Occassionally one will get torn up, but they last a lot longer than they used to. And if I see someone tearing one up, I take it away and distract them with another toy. Also, if you can stand the noise, Cuz toys are AWESOME. Most ppl on the pit bull board swear by them. Its the one thing even pits can't destruct.
