i would like to make or get a carrier for my yorkie ,penny who only is one pound now at 8 weeks and not likely to get over 4 or 5 pounds.any ideas will be great thanks maryj

It depends on where you plan to take her (car travel - airplane travel), if you want to carry her in a purse-type carrier, or a stroller? Do you want to carry her in a pouch that is around you neck and close to you for body warmth? There are lots and lots of options. I think I own one of each type, and in some cases more than one kind. I have a stroller, a wheeled airplane carry-on, a sherpa carry on, two kinds of pooch pouches. My pups like the pooch pouches the best, because they are held close and stay warm.

Mine love the stroller, and Piper loves the purse. He does the happy dance, and jumps right in.
