You really need to walk in Ladyjanes shoes for one day. Then you would realize where some of your dogs end up. She recently recued one with a sign around its neck and dumped on the street. What happened to the Liver shunt puppy Dixies Mom returned to you?

I agree with you the only reason i was going to donate a puppy is because i have a big heart and i thought it would have a good home helping these woman but as you know all my puppies are sold on spay nueter contracts but after all these post. I think you are correct this is just someone trying to stir things up on yorkie talk.

I don't think she's trying to stir things up.....as stated she's been on other boards attempting to obtain intact dogs......One has to read between the lines....her thing is wanting to breed and live of the backs of these poor dogs.

I make enough money to support myself fine. I am putting this together on my own time without pay. It is part of a nonprofit project which means I will also get no personal pay. I will have goods and services donated, no cash. I have no idea where you think I would personally profit. Besides, if I did I would lose not only my income but my health insurance which is worth more than money if I made a profit doing this. You are way off.

I did not return Dixie to Ms. Nelson, I paid for her liver shunt surgery (she had 2 shunts) had her spayed and she is very happy being the "Queen"!! She's my avatar!!

Nor can I handle walking a dog big enough to yank me all over the park. So these are the reasons why I want a small, or teacup, set of yorkies.

I don't want by any means to be RUDE but this is all i have to say, i've been in bad shape , my previous situation at home was not good, i was beaten constantly, i was threatened, i was humiliated and i had ALOT OF EMOTIONAL Issues. HOWEVER, the tought of having a puppy specialy anything that is as fragile as yorkies and/or toy breed dog was out of the question for me because i NEEDED to work on myself.

I understand you want to help, but maybe this isnt a form of help you should offer if you could not even afford your own elvis health issue.... And maybe its not the best timing to give some one such a fragile little puppy to carefor when getting over emotinal issues is a hard and lengthy process.

I think you shouldn't just be given a dog because you decided you wanted to be a breeder or a teacher of breeding/grooming. I love my dogs and i have two because i waited for the moment where i was okay, where i could share my love with my beautiful pups and accept them 100%

Emotional support is what you should be trying to give them to the fullest...not a pet....

I feel strongly about this because IVE BEEN IN THOSE GIRLS SITUATIONS!!

Ah....it's interesting to see how the story has changed...first it was for the benefit of her aunt who'd been in a car wreck, then it was because she wanted to get into breeding Yorkies and the dog would be at home with her all day with a few 'playmates' she already had, then it was to teach job skills. And because too many people were breeding Pit Bulls for money and she could change that so they could be doing it with Yorkies instead. The dogs were going to be under HER constant supervision and the ladies would have to be there to be around them, but then they have to be teacups because they have to be small enough for their apartments and so they can take them everywhere they go.... The story keeps changing and I don't believe a word of it. It has changed too much and if this person is really trying to achieve what she claims she is, there are many far better ways to go about doing that.

I'm sorry, but dogs, of any type, should not be treated as a "Project."
