A few for the boys! A new style and fun colors

Hi~ those are all really cute! I have a question though. I've only used the kind of halters that you buy at the pet stores...you know, the ones that match the leashes....just a basic strap type of affair. I'd never heard of or seen this type of halter before I came here and it sounds like a lot of members use them on their dogs. So forgive me for my ignorance.....are they as secure as the kind that I have (the boring strap ones)? Can you use them in place of those when you walk your dog? Or are they mainly for dressing them up and to hold them in a carrier? I think they're darling, I'm just trying to figure out exactly how you use them. I'm sure this sounds dumb to those who are familiar with them, but I'm not, so I just wanted to ask! They look like they're beautifully made too and I love the patterns!

Yes, these are functional harnesses to be used in place of a regular nylon harness. These are really fun and addicting to collect.

I am more cautious with my garments than some I have seen, for example in Petsmart I have seen some that only use an inch or two of crappy quality velcro with no allowance for adjusment or accomplishing a good grip. I use a good length of professional grade heavy duty velcro and I double reinforce D rings to the garment. Two key things to look at when you're shopping around.

Thanks for your reply! I've just never seen them before, but they sure are cute! Will have to think about getting some for Max when it gets a little cooler here. I would think that the grip would be important along with the D ring being secure. Thats cool that they can have a halter and a sort of shirt at the same time! I'm not too impressed with the quality of most of the pet clothes that are sold at Petco and Petsmart anyway, and don't think I'd ever buy something like that there!

I love the boys vests. There so colorful yet still are great colors for the guys. I can't find the price on them. Where do I look?

Jodi's harness vests are GREAT QUALITY! Kikko can be quite hte puller sometimes and all her harnesses haven't had any problems. and what jodi said about being addicting .. SO TRUE! i have 6 already we just love them! now we need some fall and winter vests *hint hint nudge nudge*

Oh and the colors on these fabrics are just beautiful .. ahem .. i'm sorry just HANDSOME and MANLY. they are really bold and bright perfect for summer and spring, you seriously have to see them in person.

The patriotic vests for the boys...is it made in the longer length too? I did not see this when I got Lily's dress for the 4th!! That is too cute!!!

Yes I will be making that in the longer style. It was a special order for Doodlebug and I didn't list it until after the 4th. Isn't her guy cute in it!
