| Crufts Is anyone going to Crufts? I expect I'll just be watching it on TV, though I wish they gave more coverage of it. Especially of the breed classes, instead of just catching brief glimpses & then seeing them in the group judging. I used to go to Crufts, years ago when it was still at Earls Court, as I use to show, though one of the terrier breeds not Yorkies. I used to get a lift down into Manchester & catch the special train that left about midnight. There were always more dogs on it than people It got into Euston at about 6am (it was a slow train!) & then we all had to pile onto the regular tube to Earls Court......absolute chaos....everyone with, usually several, either big dogs on leads or little ones in boxes, loads of bags of grooming stuff, packed lunches..... especially if it was the Friday & there were early commuters as well After the whole day there we did the whole thing in reverse, arriving home in time for breakfast the following day, absolutely knackered but wouldn't have missed it for the world |

| Birmingham NEC, it's a HUGE place, they hold all the major events there, motor show, horse of the year, etc.

| Friday's Working & Pastoral isn't it? Are you showing one of the breeds? We used to have two Old English Sheepdogs. If I get chance to go it will be either Saturday for the terriers, used to show Cairns & Skye Terriers, or Sunday to see the Yorkies |

| Yeah Friday is Working and Pastoral but there is loads of Agility and Flyball on that in the main arena and we wanted to go and watch that. It said on the website that all breeds will be on display on all days. Friday has the Mini Eukanuba Agility Challenge... You know what that means?!? LOL.... Yorkies doing Agility!!!!

| I went to Crufts this year (have been for the last 4 years with my yorkies). Last year Hensleigh won a 3rd and 5th in puppy classes and this year as an adult he was placed 3rd and 4th. We were there on the Sunday which was toy day as well as supreme champion day. It is much larger at the NEC Birmingham than it was at Earls Court and this year I thought it was better organised. |

| a bit late to tell you now but if you press the red button on your sky remote (if you have one) after the show on bbc2 then you get more coverage being played with none of the chit chat just the dogs.

| I wasn't there on the TOY day but I did meet the little girl in Discover Dogs, her name was Vatanya and she was owned by an American lady and her husband who were absolutely lovely. They spent along time talking to me and Mum about her and our Yorkies and let me take a video of her cuz she wouldn't turn stay still long enough to get a photo! lol. She was VERY tiny and incredibly lovely, they let me hold her and I got to have a cuddle with her for ages, which was nice cuz not all the owners in Discover Dogs were as friendly as the last time I went, they're meant to tell you about the breed and most just wanted to read the paper! I also got a video of the lady who does the dancing with dogs while she was practising.
