Hello everyone! In in bristol in the UK, I know in my area there is quite a large yorkie community, I was just wondering if there is anyone else about in this area!!! :D

I think you might be right! lol! Lucy is a Welsh doggie! We got her from some breeders near Swansea I think- though there are loads of her relatives in our area, her half brother even lives down the road!!! Where did you get your two from? You are sooo lucky to have a puppy!!!! I would never trade Lucy (she is nearly 3 now) but I would LOVE another puppy to play with!

Hi - I'm in Oldham, I'm Mum to Oscar and Digby, two gorgeous little fellas. They are the latest in a long line, I've had yorkies for 30 odd years, since I was 12. There doesn't seem to be a big yorkie commumity here, there are a few, but not many. I want another but my husband says that two is enough. I think two dozen would be good, but nobody agrees...... lol I agree! I wish I could have loads of Yorkies! Its really nice to have loads of yorkies around, although they all interact as well with the other dogs too, would be nice to turn Bristol in to a yorkie colony though lol!

Hi! I have two yorkies aged 7 and 13 years, but live in the Worcestershire area. I just found this site today. I've definitely noticed my two when they meet other dogs - always make a beeline for other yorkies - it's like "ooh there's another member of the clan better say hello". They seem to know when they are the same breed.

So Lucy is a little Welsh girl?!! Sorry I missed your reply until now but this forum has grown so huge now that I never see the post I've replied to again usually!! Our two girlies came from near Porthcawl, both from the same breeder. I bet Lucy WOULD love a friend to play with...!! :aimeeyork Ana xx

Its sooo true!! I think Lucy is a bit of a breed snob! She plays well enough with other dogs, but any other yorkies and she goes insane! The best example is with puppies, any other breed puppies and she just snaps at them but a new yorkie pup has recently moved near and she loves her!!!

i'm mum to shampie a 2 year old bitch, jax a 6mth old jack russell and nanny to pudsey a 3 week old yorkie (shampie's baby), i live in trowbridge in wilts so not far from bristol.your little one looks loverly and is very photogenic enlike my little ones who hide under pillows everytime a camera is about

Hi everyone, I have just found this site today. I live in Northumberland so a bit further north than everyone else seems to be. I have a Yorkie called 'Pip' aka 'mummies little soldier'. I love him to bits and look forward to hearing about all other members' dogs. :yorkiesar :wavey:

wow Im away from my computer for a few days and suddenly Im lost!! hello to everyone! Lucy loves to play with everyone (especially yorkies ;) ) Its a shame we all dont live nearer it would be so fun to meet up and meet everyones pups!!

So yes i was from bristol and bought both yorkies from across the bridge (wells)!:D

Hi guys, i have 5 gorgeous babies Duke, Duchess, Mitzi-Mae, Gypsy- Rose and Rocky. This Europe forum is so quiet, i dont come on here much as there is never anyone here. I live in Hampshire so im far away from all of you unfortunatley, its a shame as a yorkie play date would be great fun! :)

Hi all i live in Lincolnshire i have 3 yorkies named Dexter ,Dee Dee, and Maggie we also have 3 week old pups 3 boys and 2 girls so i am very busy as well as all that i have a 11 year old son who starts senior school after the holidays and a 14 year old daughter who appears to live in her bedroom, i also have a fab hubby bless him who somehow lives in the mayhem!

Hiya i live East Yorkshire i have a 3yr old yorkie called Lillie, I treat her like a baby cos thats what she is to me my baby lol, she had babies on 13th August 06 so there nearly 2 days old bless her she had 5 girls and 2 boys but unfortunatley one of the girls was stillborn i called her Rosie my 12 yr old son buried her in the garden he even made a gravestone out of a paveing stone bless, Lillies doing great its her first litter and shes really taken to motherhood like a duck to water, it amazes me the instincts they have to do what they do with their babies.I am tempted to keep one of the babies but i dont know if my nerves would handle it im so protective over Lillie, I had a 2yr old before Lillie called Molly but she got run over outside my house when she was on heat she died,so im really overprotective with Lillie so thats why i dont know whether to keep another (ont know if my family could handle me been like i am with 2 of them lol) anyway sorry to bable on heres few pic of Lillie and her babies

lost a baby girl this morning, im gutted but suppose its natures way, taking lillie to vets at 3o,clock to get her checked over she keeps shaking i dont no what id do if anything happened to her, shes my baby, ill keep you all informed

Oh No, I'm so sorry that you had a still born and then lost another little girl:( How did you get on at the vets? I hope all is well with mum and pups :)

Ahhhhh what precious pictures of Lille and her babies, what a delight to view them. Thank you for sharing them. We are looking for another for another little girl playmate for our little girl Baby Blessing, our daughter in law is from England, her mom was just here to the states for a visit, do you live close to Bedfordshire by any chance? I am going to talk to her about maybe getting a little yorkie, she lost her husband after 47 years and I know how much one would be company for her. Thank you again for your post. Love reading all your posts there in England, we dearly love our daughte in law, son couldn't have married one more precious than she. Have a wonderful evening there, as I suppose it is now around eight thirty in the evening your time.

Aww your baby is so pretty bless sorry i live a long way from bedfordshire sorry, took lillie to vet she had blood tests and everything was fine, shes really perked up shes more alert and doing mischievas things again nearly got my lillie back lol i really miss our cuddles sitting down to watch tele isnt the same without her settling down next to me and pushing my hand eveytime i stop stralking her lol,

So glad to hear all the tests were fine for Lillie, and to hear she is back to being herself. What size is Lillie, that was quite a litter for her to have. Please post picture sometime with Lillie and her babies, would love to see them together. Have you decided to keep one? :) Oh, I would in a heart beat, they are adoreable. Wish you lived my way, we are here in Calif. USA
I would be right over to see your babies. We think we will be getting another here real soon.
