YT 500 Club Member | newbie hi, i've recently joined this site and am so glad to find people in the u.k. i am a long term yorkie owner having owned everything from Bo a lovely 12lb boy[ my first] to hope a tiny 3.5lb long before the tearm t-cup becames ' fashonable'. a fashion i hope is short lived and yorkies can be just yorkies again. I currently own 1 little boy Alfie a very pretty [he should of been a girl] 11 month old and a tiny girl called Rosie who has just gone 3 months, amazingly they were both born on the 17th day of the month. Looking forward to hearing from other yorkie lovers out there. |

| I laugh *at* the people that say that and make sure they know it (like 'duh, don't you know a dog when you see one?'. Absolutely everyone I know has said they don't like small dogs until they meet mine... If they persist and I know them, I just say - why is she a rat? Most of them can't justify it and shut up! |

YT 500 Club Member | general i think i'll try that one,or both. I dont really care what other people think of my dogs, if everyone liked the same breed or same type within a breed the world would b a pretty boring place. Alfie is such a friendly little guy i swear he has his own fan club as most people seam to know him on sight, though he's now got competition in Rosie for cutist dog around hear. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Welcome to ALL the newbies! When people make fun of mine, I just point out how easy they are to care for. They're fine with short walks and don't chew the leather off the couch because of excess energy. And the part that always hits home to big-dog owners: Small turds! If you forget a bag, you can scoop it up with a leaf!
