| Hello everyone My Yorkie baby Porsha is 10 yo and has these little sebaceous glands, 10-12, all over her body mostly on her neck and back just above her tail bone, and a few on both sides below her ribs. One of them just burst ( I have followed your suggestions of warm compresses and Neosporin. Thank you for your suggestions and ideas on how best to treat this issue. The vet also told me that this is common and rarely cancerous. But it still concerns me whenever a new one develops. I just hope she's not in pain. York4Ever, thank you for the website links - they were very helpful, indeed. Good night |

| Does anyone have any words of wisdom when a yorkie-poo gets the mass lumps under their skin? Shiver had 1 on her shoulder when she was a pup and we had it removed, they told us then that it was just a fatty tissue mass. I know they said it was a good thing if it was squishy and moved. Now she is about to be 10 years old next month and has 2 that just showed up, one on the inside of her leg and another on her check wall near her arm pit. They just showed up about 3 months ago. They have not changes in size since I discovered them. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. My Shiver is black and so her skin is grey. The lump itself is fully under her skin. Any advise. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow, I just want to know the right questions to ask. Thanks friends. |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Both of my senior pups who are 10 & 12 also suffers from these horrible cysts and bumps. They are everywhere, paws, head, face, chin, lips, thigh its just crazy how they just seem to multiply. I am just very grateful that they are not cancerous.
