| SUN Caps for our furbabies Has anyone bought a sun hat/cap for her Yorkie? I noticed that Tootsy does seem to find the sun irritating her eyes on hot days. I have seen them advertised but I don't know if they are any good. I would really appreciate hearing from someone who uses a hat. Luv Franceen |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Ruby wears sun hats when she is outside gardening with me. I'll make a matching hat with some of her dresses I've sewn. On those very bright days she does seem to enjoy wearing them.

| I have a couple for when they're in my husband's MGF...No shade!! But they're just baby sunhats I picked up in Mothercare. |

I Love My Babies Donating Member | I never thought of that. I don't know if mine would even wear one. They won't keep any bows in their hair.

| Thank you for the replies. Oh Jencar98, your little Ruby looks ADORABLE in her sunhat!! How did you make it and was it difficult to do? Wish I could buy one like that as my sewing is not that great. Meggie do you cut holes in the Mothercare ones for their ears? I think they will get used to wearing them, grandmatoall, and find it much easier on their eyes. The glare can be quite strong in summer. Luv Yvonne xx |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Thank you Yvonne, I enjoy making the hats. You could make one, it's not too difficult. I basically saw one similar and just played around with the design to make Ruby's.

| No, I don't bother cutting holes in, just stuff their ears inside They don't seem to mind. The bonnet type ones with ties under the chin are much easier to keep on! Some of them have material that dangles down the back, intended to keep a baby's neck covered. Button looks like he's off to join the Foreign Legion in his xx Meggie |
