| Hi brenda Thanks for your reply. I hadnt heard of them either till we saw them and fell in love with the breed. Belted Galloways originated in the galloway area of south western scotland and I read that they were introduced into the states by Harry A Prock white marsh pennsylvania in 1950.They are very hairy ( second in hair density to the buffalo) Something I also read and they are Black with a white belt around their stomachs.Very quiet cattle and you can get othr colours to. dianne |

| HI there, I have a yorkie and a hereford cow. I dont breed cattle though. Just fell in love with her and wouldnt let my dad get rid of here so she is now a lawn ornament out at my dads place. |
