| I just went to the kiosk at eaton center, and they don't really have very much variety... plus, i think everything is so expensive... a jacket for over 45 bucks?? OMG... I went to PJ's the other day and bought a jacket (which is too small, i'm gonna return it tonight) for 35 bucks... it was denim... compared to online, which on this site I just ordered a denim vest that has a D ring for the leash from Tiger Mom for 12.99 with shipping and the exchange rate only comes to about 22 bucks... defintely less than what i would find here!!! So for now, i'm shopping online... i ended up buying a personalized collar at the kiosk, cost me 35 bucks with all the letters and stuff... i just saw on Tiger Mom's site the same leash for 10 bucks, with the same letters for a dollar each as opposed to 3 bucks each at the kiosk!!! Anyway... say la vie... i can't return anything at the kiosk.. it's exchange only...

| The Bobo site is loading normally for me in IE 6.0. I have to say I love Puppy Angel, but don't love the Bobo site's prices... If you're not a big spender, you're not really missing out. The shipping prices they have listed on their site made me wince. Poochtini is worth checking out when they get their site working properly again (half of their items aren't showing up atm). They're Toronto-based I believe--someone posted about them in another thread... and they'll deliver for free to some Toronto locations. But either their sizing is a bit weird or my dogs are unusually long. Looked like some decent prices on some things though. I believe Barking Beauties is Ontario-based. You can select to see all items on their site in Canadian currency. They stock items from a few designers, including PA and Louis Dog, but the clothes generally aren't cheap. Pugpuppies.ca sells a couple things... several types of the Puppia harnesses anyway. Also Ontario-based. And finally designerduds4dogs.com is based in Guelph, ON I think and sells some Puppia items--clothing, harnesses, etc. I just found the site from a Kijiji ad tonight... appears to be pretty new. Having listed all of those Canadian sites--I should mention I've only ordered clothes from the US so far. As much as I'd like to support Canadian sites, I'm a bit of a bargain hunter and just haven't been coming across bargains up here. My favourite orders so far were from: http://www.prettyyoko.com/ (I got loads of cute items pre-Christmas when they first went on sale--great deals imo for some really cute stuff. Since I ordered so much, I had it sent to my uncle in NY to get free shipping and avoid duty taxes though.) http://www.shopstump.com/ (Currently low on stock though--only the leftovers from a big sale are left basically. She applied the free shipping deal to my (> $50) order as well even though it was to Canada... and I had her mark it as a gift and I had no taxes to worry about. I'm not sure if she would still include Canadian orders... I would ask first.) http://shoptickledpinkboutique.com/ (I loved her Tiffany harness idea... she also was happy to mark my package as a gift and shipping was reasonable.)

| I was in Toronto a couple of weeks ago (I live in Ottawa) and found a kiosk in Yorkdale Mall. We bought the cutest little jacket for Tia! It's a white puffy (like down filled) jacket, sleeveless with a fur trimmed hood. The lining of teh jacket and of the hood (which lies flat on her back) is a faux burberry print. She looks so sute in it! I'll have to post picks. It was kind of expensive (to me) was about $40 with tax....but so worth it! |

| Just wanted to say that I found coats and sweaters in Walmark and Zeller's. They have X-small that are very small. My brother's Yorkie is 3.5 lb and she fixs in them well. This time of the year they are picked over but have a look. We still have some cold Winter left to go yet!

| Went back to TO for March break and we headed to Bloor Street. Just behind where the Holt Renfrew is on Cumberland si a cute little shop called the Pet Boutique. They have Juicy Couture and other cute bags, shirts, accessories. I bought Tia little crystal jaw clips (I can't use even the tiniest of human ones because her hair is still fine and I can't get her to sit still enough to put an elastic in). They were under $4.00 each. Great things in there! Oh, And I loooove the Tiffany harness at Tickled Pink! I'm dying to order one for Tia, but at 4 months, she's still growing! Not sure what size to get her!

| I made a small purchase from Barkingbeauties.com recently and was happy with everything. I bought the last red PA trench coat (overstock sale--yay!) and a few bows. The bows were great... the rhinestone she used in the 5/8" bows is the largest I've seen in a bow that size. Love it! (7/8" bows come with three smaller rhinestones if you choose a RS center.) If anyone is looking for a matching bow for the Tiffany harness from Tickled Pink Boutique, the aqua 7/8" bow from Barking Beauties is a perfect match (not available in 5/8" unfortunately). A white satin bow would probably look better and is easier to find, but I was intent on finding a match to the aqua fabric... if anyone else is too, there you go.

| It seems like to me, that ever story that sales dog clothing and accessories only sales girly things for a small dog. Ive got nothing wrong with girly dog products. But where are the manly dog stuff? I love me little guy. I dont mind dressing him. When we go for a walk when its cold he wears his Harley Davidson hoodie. Can anyone recommend a dog store that has stuff and a "metro sexual" male would put on his dog? |
