We took him to our vet the first time but they did a terrable job we weren't happy. we even asked if they delt with yorkies before..they said yes but their work showed us different. anyways thanx in advance. This is before his first hair cut. His hair grew back and is much longer. i don't have recent pictures because i think he looks messy and dirty. http://img438.imageshack.us/my.php?i...sworld29gb.jpg |

| I haven't used this place as I am in Mississauga, but I have ordered merchandise from them before.. maybe you want to check them out... At the very least you could go in sometime and get a feel for the place. http://www.johnandrewforpets.com/spa.php This site has a few listings of Toronto dog groomers too... http://www.torontodogs.com/misc.htm Hope this helps!

| I"m from TORONTO I live in Toronto !!! Anyway i took Rylie for her first grooming session to bark & fitz (at Yonge & Eglinton)the lady owns a Yorkie herself. So that made me a little more comfortable. Well when i got to the groomers the groomer did not want to give Rylie a cut she said that she was too cute the way she was and just needed a little bit of a trim. The lady even said to me.. if i wanted i could just take the dog and cut her just to make the money, but i don't want to do that she already looks beautiful the way she is and she didn't want to ruin her hair and she didn't want me to be disappointed. So that was a good sign that she didn't just care about the money and actually cared about how Rylie would look and what i would think in the end. There was another place that i was thinking of taking Rylie too it's call CoCo spa but the wait was too long. In a few months i will be taking Rylie again to the groomers and i will again take her to Bark & Fitz. The groomer has her own male yorkie, he's very small and she cuts his hair, so i know she will be gentle and i know that she's experienced with there hair type. I originally was thinking of getting Rylie's fur cuz short for the summer but she adviced me other wise saying that it would not make her coat look good and make it look choppy. I'm not sure if this helps, but please let me know where you end up taking your doggy for grooming, as i would also like to know what other good groomers there are in Toronto. (P.S. Where around Toronto are you from?)

| Pampered Paws HI, I live in Mississauga and took Piccolo tp Pampered Paws..I know they are also in Toronto and Tokio ( if you please). They have a website pamperedpaws.com The one in Mississauga was great ! ( and it's only 20 minutes from Toronto). They do cut for dog shows and are very familiar with yorkies. The best thing was that thay let me stay and watch what they're doing. I have pics of the store in my photo gallery. It was Piccolo's first cut and he had lots of matts I couldn't get out. They showed me how to do it. Here's the pic after his haircut.

And on a side note - do you know of any fun dog stores around here - the only one I know of is Bark and Fitz on Lakeshore (which is great), just wondered if you knew of any others though? (Nice to 'see' you again) - I hadn't seen you post in awhile!

| I go to Bark & Fitz all the time. And Pampered Paws are just one block away at 92 Lakeshore Rd.E, 905 278 9663 in the same building as Rabba (downstairs). They charged me $60.00 for a full treatment. I guess that the next cut will be cheaper because they spent lots of time on his matts which now are under control. I shop in different places in Mississauga but I want to check out PetSmart on Rodeo Dr. Never been there before. Have you shopped there ? I got an e-mail from OntarioYorkies Group about a meetup in September. Are you going there? How is your new baby doing?
