| I am not sure if it is the same with dogs as it is with cats. I have a tiny cat and I was afraid to get her spayed as she was sickly too. They gave her a blood test before they put her under to make sure it was safe. Blood test was good and cat was fine from the spay. I have had a dog spayed too and she was fine. I would get your dog spayed if you are not intending to breed her. |

| Hummping What is very funny. Spaying is the way to go, it is better for the dogs. I will have Sweetie spayed after a litter. She has had three heets. After each heet, she seems a little more grown-up. If you want to now more about getting your Babs fixed ask your Vet, they can answer all your questions. Good luck with your Babs!

| If you do not plan on breeding her, I would for sure have her spayed. If she gets impregnated by a larger dog, the puppies can actually kill the mother as they are growing. But speak to the vet and he/she can tell you all of the pros and cons. Good Luck.
