New to Yorkie Talk Hi I have a Yorki-poo that looks more like a Yorki. His name is Jynx and he is a bundle of fun. He is quite anoying to his brother, a Husky-Retriever mix, but they have begun to play together. Other than getting stepped on by his brother Jasper, Jynx seems to be doing ok. He is tough to house train, but going out with his brother seems to help. He loves being outside, although I am sure this will change with our manitoba winters, lol. One problem I am having is that Jynx likes is very hyper at times and likes to bite. Any suggestions on how to curtail the biting? I will attempt to attach pictures of Jynx and his brother Jasper.

To Skoggy I'm no expert but would suggest a firm NO when your little guy bites. He appears to be young yet so nipping this problem in the bud should avoid any future problems. As for changing about going outside in the winter -- all 3 of ours love winter and go out almost every day -- they get there little jackets on and off they go, Lexie especially loves the outdoors and she is the smallest of the 3. Hope this helps and welcome to YT

Thanks Hello Thanks for the reassurance to at least try him outside, in his gear in the winter. Jasper, our Husky Cross loves the snow and I think this may rub off on Jynx. He does love to be where ever his big brother is. As for the nipping, we do give him a firm no, but from what I have been reading, I must remain consistant in this, which we are.
