Hi All,
My name is Clyde, we have a 1yr old Yorkie girl and a 6month old Morkie boy (maltese/Yorkie.) The yorkie, Kiki, is my daughters, and the Morkie, Kozmo, is my wifes. We live in San Jose, and the little ones are soo much fun, and can be frustrating. We've met several other Yorkie owners at the Camden avenue dog park.

I am in the San Joaqin Valley. Suzi is my first Yorkie baby

I have had her six weeks already

She is absolutely the most wonderful puppy I have ever seen

Romeo is 9 months old.
We live in the SJ area and took him to a yorkie meet at Reed Park for the first time last Sunday.
Does anyone know of a reliable/affordable groomer in the area? I've been going to Petsmart and it would be nice to go to one who specializes in yorkie cuts

Hi Malia we are in South San Jose, and would also like to find a good YT groomer. Not looking to put our little ones in a show, but would be nice if the groomer new more about the cut than we do ... :-)

We've used Petsmart, and they've been ok, just think we could do better, so hope someone chimes in with a good suggestion.

Hi Clydecat,
Wow! We are not too far from each other. I've been doing an online search and reading people's reviews. Its taking forever to find local groomers. Two stood out for me (but they are closer to me than you):
A Pet Villa off of San Tomas Expressway (Santa Clara). They have pictures of groomed yorkies on their web page so thats reassuring.
Then there's Andre and Monica's Grooming who I didn't find any reviews on. They also don't have a web page. But you know some of the best groomers are local, small businesses

So I've decided to stop by these two places and compare rates and services and go from there.
I guess I just have to put my lil Romeo on the line

I'm looking for one that can make him feel comfortable.
I hope someone in the San Jose area replies soon

Sandy in Santa Clarita. I have a little girl 8 months old. My first yorkie. Her name is mia. Working on getting some pictures posted. I know a great breeder, groomer, kennel in my area if anyone needs her skills!! Mia is my life!!

Hi I am Clelia and I have one Yorkie...Buttons, my lil man.

Hopefully to have another soon.

But I am not sure if Buttons will be okay or not, I really want alil girl but may get another boy. Any thoughts which Buttons would get along with better? He is 2.5 yrs, and SPOILED ROTTEN

You are close to me too! Have you been to the yorkie meet in San Jose. They had one a couple of weeks ago and it was my first time there. It was at the Reed park. There were adorable yorkies running everywhere and took over the whole small dog side of the park

Epsilon and I are currently in Rohnert Park, CA (Sonoma County) but we're moving back to Monterey County this weekend. We only have a few more months in California

before we move to Denver, CO.

My name is Rosie and I have 4 yorkies. Buffy is 11 yrs, Duncan 2 1/2 yrs, Keanu 1 yr and Lil Bear also 1 yr old.

I'm real bad about going to meet-ups because I have 4 yorkies, but I'm going to make it to one of them

one day...lol
