Corrine, are you saying we should do this??? I would LOVE to do this, but I think we should set up a committee and get a thread going about it. LOL. OMG this would be soooo much fun! If nothing else, just a HUGE meet up and maybe some vendors?

I think we should have a huge Yorkie Convention in Cali sometime! Can you imagine all of these little ones together, and vendors and games ect? I think it would be a blast![/QUOTE]

We should definitely meet up. My Mother in Law lives in San Jacinto...next town from Hemet.

If you can believe this... I've never met a "real live" Yorkie before. Other than Lacey and she's only 1/2 Yorkie.

I live out in the middle of the desert.. southeast of Bakersfield.. I know NO ONE lives out there!! lol... Anyway, I retired last August.. and would be happy to volunteer some time.. .. help out anyway I can.. spearhead?? I wouldn't even know where to start.. but I will do whatever I can to help

I think if we had the volunteers from this thread get together (when I am home!

) then we could put together something quite nice! Last convention I helped with was for my car group. We ended up having some huge groups of ppl over a 3 day period with different events on different days. Shal we start a planning thread or a Yahoogroups for this?

Totally off topic here:

What car group? You keep saying cars but there are so many different kinds of car groups. Lisa's hubby is REALLY into cars and Dan and I are into restoring our first year Mustang so there are some Yorkie & Car lovers here too!

Sounds like a great idea! I am usually somewhat available.. (does that sound vague?lol) I do have a home based business (I make artist teddy bears) so I go to shows from time to time.. I have one coming up in January and another in April.. But I think this would be such a fun project..

Corinne, I have been into 240sx's for the last 8 years of my life. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE classics ( my dad has a house and yard full of them! haha). I just cant find one for a descent price. My mom and dad have mainly 68's (mustang, ss camaro, el camino) and a 40 ford truck.
