awww.... what a loving and great first day together you had with your new yorkie Ginger. Keep us updated on your new life with Ginger. I, too, am a newbiemom to My SweetPea, and she has definitely changed my daily routine, and has brought me so much happiness. Congratulations on your decision to adopt Ginger and welcome to YT Greg!

I'm also not too far from you I'm in Hacienda Height incase of anything.

Also, this weekend Aug. 18th we are having a little Yorkie meetup in the home of another YT member in Fontana, if you or anyone one else in our area would like to attend just PM me and I'll send you the information. I think this would be good for you (and your Aunt) to ask questions face to face of other Yorkie owners.

Thank You for the invitation but you'r thinking of Walnut,CA. Greg and I are up in Walnut Creek, about 25 miles from San Francisco. But I wish I could come to your show. We have the Santa Rosa shows this weekend.

Your right I was thinking it was Walnut, CA...... Oh this weekend thing is not a show just a get together of some Yorkie mom's so the furkids can play.

About half way home she started to moan so I found a quit place and took her for a walk in case se needed to relieve herself. (she did really well on the lead) but didn't go. So I put her back and off we went. I guess I didn't latch the crate properly because in about 5 min she was out and on my lap for the rest of the ride.

She has been on my or my aunt's lap ever since. What a great Day and I have never seen my aunt so excited and happy. She is a young 89, I think this is the best thing I could have done for her. All and All I couldn't have asked for more.

AWW it sound so great, the dog has a great temperment. I have always thought that dogs can sense the good and bad in people. She must have felt right at home. Best of luck.
