Hey Lisa!!! Soooo..... you took your little girl to Fashion Island yesterday!!! I love Francoli's.... their food is totally yummy. I'm thinking I should maybe get a stroller for Mango as well. Is yours the same as Misty's? What did you buy for Sukoshi? Did her Mommy get anything for herself?
Yesterday we took Mango to the historic district in Old Town Orange; Mango had an absolute blast!!! She bounced around on her leash.... stopping every few seconds to do her little Mango Tango dance in front of anybody and everybody...(she's never met a person she shouldn't say hello to, you see). We ate at an old converted gas station... such a cute place, also very dog friendly. There were quite a few people there with their dogs; the one sitting next to us was sooooo huge, when he opened his mouth to yawn, Mango nearly ran right in!:2omg: It was such fun, besides the food being fab, the waiters brought little bowls of water for the doggies. Mango sat in her bag and chewed on her Nylabone, while Jack and I chowed down HUGE hamburgers. Then we strolled around, looking at the cute old houses with the front porches. I love old neighborhoods, but am sorely starved for them in California. I soooo want a front porch to hang out on and watch the world go by, with my baby snuggled on my lap.
Hugs to you, and give Sukoshi a skosh for me,
Lauren:D | Yep...mine is the same as Misty's (the pink Pet Gear one). We actually bought them from two different PetSmarts, but on the same day. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I definitely recommend one, although I rigged up this tether for it to put Sukoshi on before I ever used it, and I'm thinking Mango would require something similar. Like Mango, Sukoshi wants to say, "Hi" to EVERYONE, so I knew she may try to get out without some sort of restraint (sure, I can zip it all up and enclose her...but what fun is that?!?!?!). So, I just wrapped one of Sukoshi's leashes around the stroller handle, and then fed it into the stroller via the zipper on the back corner, and I left it just long enough that she can reach the front, but if she jumps out (which she's done twice now), she's just hanging by the side of the stroller on her harness for two seconds until I put her back in. I didn't want it long enough that she could crash into the cement below on her way down, and I didn't want to leave her with no tether, to where she'd get out and away from me   ! But, if you do something like that to keep Mango attached, then I'm sure Mango and Mommy would BOTH love it!
Let's see...what did I buy for Sukoshi yesterday? She got a t-shirt that says "Yorkie to Happiness" (get it?...Your Key to Happiness...LOL :D...LOVE IT), a new dress, some new hair accessories, 3 "Ruffles" from Three Dog Bakery, a new collar, and ... well ... I think that's it. What did Mommy get? Hmmm...NOTHING! Isn't that always the case?!?!? All the money goes to our children :D :D :D !!!
Your time in Old Town Orange sounds fabulous. Maybe that should be next on my agenda of places to check out with hubby and Sukoshi!
Oh, and I'll give Sukoshi a Skosh from you just as soon as I get home to her! |
