Vegas I read in another group about a doggie or Yorkie fest in Vegas in June. Let me go back and look for it and get all info. |

Sukoshi's mom - I live in Yorba Linda, Orange County, not too far I think from Corinne. Where I you located? I would just so love for all of us to get together. I am free as a bird in June, except for Father's Day...hubby would just cry if I took of with his latest baby, Mango...LOL. I have been a stay at home Mommy for a loooong time now, so just name the day and I'm there!!!!:thumbup::thumbup: |

Yippeee!!!!!:jump28ib::jump28ib: Come on Corinne!! We want to play with Jazzie!!! My poor little Mango says our senior girl Spanky is just no fun..... poor Spanky my beautiful, gentle old girl, she just does not have the energy to deal with Mango Madness and the associated "zoomies". Sukoshi's Mom - you have totally made my day!!!! Hugs to you.:girl_hug: |
Forget Vegas its something very different ....sorry. |
Exactly where is Yorba Regional Park? I have a friend I could stay over with who lives in Newport Beach. Is it far from there? If anyone gets up in my neck of the woods there are a few dog friendly places. Sea Cove resturant Brown Pelican resturant Arroyo Burro beach (also called Hendry's Beach, at the end of Las Positas Road). Bacarak Beach. Near the tennis courts Our small town is also getting a dog park in August or September, and it will only be 3 miles from me. |
Yorba Regional Park is in Yorba Linda/Anaheim. The actual physical address is: 7600 E. La Palma Ave, Anaheim 92807. From Newport Beach, it would be about a 30 minute drive. The park is fantastic, acres and acres of green grassy areas.... our babies would simply have a ball there, dashing around to their hearts content. If it works for you, I could give you excellent directions to the park. The closest Fwy is the 91 which can be accessed from Newport beach via the 55 or the Toll Road (241), the latter being very quick - you can link to it directly from Jamboree, one of the main streets leading to and from the Newport area. This way is actually the simplest and the quickest - almost as the "crow flies". Yorkiedaze, it would be so great if you could make it as well!!! |

Three would be too much to handle where there is so much going on doggie wise (for now). I've got Jolie scheduled to start basic obediance in June. Janelle said she is leaving the kids at home. Eeeeeek! I can't wait for tomorrow! |

Is there an off leash area at Yorba Park? |

Thank goodness I checked back here. Can't wait to meet you! Not sure if there is an off leash area, the park is soooo huge. I shudder to think of my demented little Mango unleashed..... she would run like the wind, little devil.....we would all be chasing her around every bush, tree and many feet, trying to get her under control. She is sooooooo darn naughty.... a constant embarrassment to her Mommy in public. |
If I do come down, I'll just have my friend take me to the park. She has two Yorkies herself. :p I don't know if I want to drive down or just "wing" it. If I'm allowed two dogs in one carrier, then flying it will be. :D |

My bad! I meant tomorrow, to the Dog Show in Pomona where I'll be meeting Lisa & Sukoshi for the first time and also to introduce them to Janelle (Surfie & Tiki). But I'm super super excited to meet you an Mango the Saturday after! That park looks huge! Since you go there, you need to let us know where in the park to meet! |
