| So. Cali Groomer Does anyone know a good Yorkie groomer in the Southern California area. Preferrably the Riverside, San Bernardino County area? I'm contemplating if i should be taking my yorkie to a groomer that specializes in Yorkies, or to start taking him just to any local groomer. Or does it really matter? |

| I cannot help with a groomer in those areas, but I just wanted to offer that I have a mobile groomer who comes to my house once a month and does my standard poodle, my westie, my yorkies and my persian cat and it's cheaper than if I took them to the groomer. I am also able to check on her and the animals whenever I want and even stay in the van with them if I want to. I would definitely interview several groomers before you decide and stay with your dog if you can. Arrange an appointment for first thing in the morning before other dogs arrive so it's quiet and not so stressful and ask about what kind of restraint they use and what kind of blow dryers because there are some rather inhumane ones out there. Remember, the yorkie is the #1 stolen dog so try to always be nearby if possible at all times. |
