:thumbup: :thumbup: i don't know if you recall me asking about this breeder. i was very very scared of adopting a puppy with out seeing it and worse...getting one from a kennel. this was the best experience i have had. i had a set amount that i would spend on a puppy. her prices were a bit too much for me. i called her anyway. she asked all kinds of questions what i was looking for....my home life....other pets. she then contacted me the next day about a girl she has which was almost 5months old. she sent me pictures and gave me the price i wanted. showed me the mother and father. she was exactly what i was looking for. still scared, i commited to getting her and having her shipped to me.

i was so nervous going to pick her up. i made sure i had extra blankets wipes because i just knew she would have pee and poo all over her..

to my surprise was this beautiful little girl....smelled of roses cuddled in this beautiful baby blanket in a beautiful bed.

i knew this was too good to be true. she came home. everyone loves her and she loves everyone.

to this day she has not barked or whined. just lots lots of wags and kisses. i took her to the vet today and he said she was perfect.


so, yes, i would recommend starlight yorkies.

Qypsyqueen on here bought one of her yorkies and had a really good experience with the shipping also.

can you believe the new camera i got for christmas is a piece of junk!!!!!!! when i push the button, it takes 10sec for it to take, then my babies are off playing. i am sooooo upset. i will try and get pictures soon

I am so happy for you and have been following your search for this Yorkie. I can't wait for pictures. I have been kind of looking for a female but after my last bad experience and speaking to a couple of breeders, I have doubts about getting another Yorkie. I've lost trust. I discovered that some have a pleasant experience with a breeder but not all. I was offered a pup with an open frontenal at 7 months the size of a pinky nail and returned to breeder once, all for $2500. A show breeder praised here. I was told that since the first owner had it vet checked (failed), I didn't have to have my vet check her. I passed on this fantastic offer since I remember doing something similar in Sept. I do give this breeder points for honesty and not lying. The poor pup was coughing in the backround and she told me that she was concerned. I suggested a vet visit right away, bad cough.

believe me...it is sooooo very scary. i was very lucky. sugars mom (who i trust and has beautiful babies) i would have got one but she was going to be a little too small. so i kept kept kept searching and searching...talking to people. i was at my WITS END. i thought there was nothing out there for me. i had given up until i spoke w this lady. i was still scared but now, i am so happy.
there are no guarentees no matter who you go with.

this picture is the one she sent me.....but in person, she is soooo much more beautiful. and to feel her..aweeeeee so soft. she is 5months and weighs about 4lbs.
she is so much fun. just a bunch of tail wagging and running around. eventhough she was a kennel dog, she taught them how to potty on the pad. she has never had an accident on the floor since i have had her.

She is a cutie!! Glad you had a good experience.:)

Congratulations on your baby...about your camera...Make sure your red eye eliminator is OFF because it flashes a couple times before it snaps and wastes too much time.

I'm so glad it worked out for you. She's adorable. Finding a breeder you can trust is so difficult. It is so hard to know what's behind some of those stunning websites.

it has been over a week and she is just darling. so happy and the tail doesn't stop wagging. she gets along with my other two fine. she has yet to make a sound....no barking....no whining.....i am very very very pleased with her and my husband keeps telling me she likes him more than me. she is always in his lap.
i would describe her as "spunky" "happy" "fun"

My Dixie came from Starlight kennels. He was finished to his UKC Championship and his International title. He was very lovely and had great color and coat texture. He was too small to show AKC.

I was very pleased with him. Congratulations on your baby.

Wanted to share what I know about Starlights yorkies. I have a friend that has a female yorkie Roxie that has a heart murmur, level one. She will send puppies that she can't get a good price for down to her friend in Orange, TX to sell, she does that so she can sell her expensive ones on her site. Roxie was sold to my friend without letting her know she had a heart murmur, she is find and lucky she get an owner that can afford to give her meds every day. She still breeds Roxie's parent. Glad you all have healthy puppies from there, she does have some beautiful yorkies.

Can I ask who the parents were? I've been looking at this breeder and would like to konw.

also who the name of the person who sold her. the reason why i ask is starlight has a contract that you need to take the puppy to the vet w/n 3 days and bring it back if there are any problems. they are ck'd by a vet prior to shipping and her vet is a friend of my vet so when my vet saw his paper work and rabies shot certificate, he told me he was a very good vet

i do know she has been selling her puppies to friends in tx and canada since business for her is slow.
