Talked with my friend and starlight wouldn't give her any info about Roxie. she asked who her parents were and when she was born, the shots she had and no info. So I was wrong about knowing she was still breeding the parents, but she still might. The lady in Orange is named Leah. My friend thinks what happened with Roxie that she was sold and then returned when they found out she had a murmur. Roxie is a real cutie less then 3lbs and black/gold and doing great, she had her spayed and had a mouth full of baby teeth pulled. roxie was almost a year when she got her and is now two. I just wanted to share what I know and you can pm me and I will give you my firends email address if you want any more info.

yes, she has a very nice kennel outside her home. some breeders here on yorkie talk have kennels that are very nice as well. i was familiar w kennels and felt they were "BAD" but they are not. it is very nice set up. just like a room in the home w a kitchen, table and chairs, sink, grooming table, and a bathroom.
i just got my 2nd dog from her last thrusday. he is a doll baby. went to the vet yesterday and all is great!!!
she has been breeding for 26 yrs and knows her dogs. she keeps to the akc standard and will not stray from that. if a dog is tooo small to breed she will sell it w limited reg w no exceptions.
i very much respect her. since i got vinny last thru, she has called me 3 times. i spoke to her for an hour one night. she is just an awesome lady to deal with.

hi, i spoke with kathryn on easter for about an hour. i did not speak about this case with your friend but she brought up a situation w one lady who purchased two dogs from her. they lady called her and said one of the babies (now grown) had a problem (i cannot remember what) but kathryn wanted to know which one...wanted her to look up the parents on the pedigree. she had not registered the two so did not have any information on the parents. of course kathryn had the parents information but she had purchased two that were from different parents. which ever parents that puppy came from she wanted to stop breeding. but of course she doen't want to stop breeding all 4 dogs. so now, she is going to have all of them mirco chipped so if this ever happens again, they can find out which has the problem and stop breeding the two. kathryn definately does not want to breed dogs with any kind of genitic problems.

This is my opinion and maybe I need my eyes checked, but most of her breeding dogs look to be soft/cotton coated. AKC calls for silk coats.

i have adopted three of her babies. my coco's coat is very silky and thick. pebbles, my newest one, her coat has not come in all the way but it is very shinny , thinner than coco's, but appears to be very silky....then vinny, his is very silky but has too much white in it. i knew that when i adopted him and she adjusted the price for that.
here are their photos now.....i am sure it is hard to tell in a photo.
they are all very very loving, NON BARKERS (YEA), playful, sweet, i could not ask for better personalities.
this is my problem, vinny has a very nice topline but has too much white. coco is 10 months old but she appears to still be very dark. so i am hoping breeding them two together, this will be corrected in their offsprings.
