hi, i spoke with kathryn on easter for about an hour. i did not speak about this case with your friend but she brought up a situation w one lady who purchased two dogs from her. they lady called her and said one of the babies (now grown) had a problem (i cannot remember what) but kathryn wanted to know which one...wanted her to look up the parents on the pedigree. she had not registered the two so did not have any information on the parents. of course kathryn had the parents information but she had purchased two that were from different parents. which ever parents that puppy came from she wanted to stop breeding. but of course she doen't want to stop breeding all 4 dogs. so now, she is going to have all of them mirco chipped so if this ever happens again, they can find out which has the problem and stop breeding the two. kathryn definately does not want to breed dogs with any kind of genitic problems.
