Thank you for posting this...It too blows my mind how it is OK to ship any pup off to a Pet Store...INCREDIABLE how THIS is NOT an ISSUE :mad: What an eye opener to see REAL VALUES :thumbdown

Im glad im not the only one seeing this. This should be a huge eye opener to everyone. The health certificates werent enough proof andGlenda Beavers admitting it isnt enough truth, nothing will ever make them believe this so its pointless.

A little off topic but I googled the Silverman's and came up with "An Act Concerning Animals Bill." The Silverman's as well as their vet/s were listed as those that opposed the bill. Seemed like a good bill too (This bill is a combination of Rep. Fahrbach’s bill (HB 5010) that would ban pet shops from selling puppies less than a year old, and Reps. Fontana and Urban’s bill (HB 6413) banning the use of elephants in traveling shows and circuses. In both situations, constituents asked their legislators to propose the bills."

AN ACT CONCERNING ANIMALS.

Also I'm a little slow but from what I gather the Silverman's own Puppy Love and they also have a kennel? So are they selling their own dogs at the pet store too? I see they breed red poodles, Maltese, Yorkies and I think another breed as well.

Thank you KarenAnn for exposing Glenda for what she truly is. And, I apologize for the posts of some here that just want to "shoot the messenger". I've defended and recommended GB in the past as I had heard nothing negative about her. The documents prove what she has done and it's not a "one-time only mistake" as someone earlier suggested.

Also, thank you to the other posters (Ree, Elaine, Txgurl06, tammyjm) that have condemned GB for selling these babies to petstores, even though you've been ridiculed for your posts. There will always be some that refuse to acknowledge the truth because the truth is ugly and it hurts.

It's a crying shame that money is more important to GB than the dogs :thumbdown

It was not confirmed that GB sold the pups, only that she shipped the pups.

Give me a break :rolleyes: you really are splitting hairs with that one.

What, it's okay to ship numerous young puppies off to a petstore if you don't make money off of them!?!?

And, I don't for one second believe that she didn't make money off of these shipments. I don't care how good a friend you are to me, I wouldn't ship anything (especially live animals) off that many times and do it just as a favor!

GB knows it's unethical to sell puppies to a petstore and that it would ruin her reputation in the exhibitor world if she did so and it was found out. Do you honestly think she would take that chance if it weren't for the money?!?!

In my opinion it makes no difference. She would not sell HER OWN pups to this pet store or any pet store, yet she'd ship other pups to that same pet store. :confused: Were her pups more worthy?

She knew it was wrong and yet still had her hand in something that was less then something a reputable breeder would take part in. For as long as she has been a breeder and as reputable as the claim is then she is well aware of the Hunte Corporation, Puppy Mills and the dealings Pet Stores have with them yet still chose to take part. As I tell my two boys. Pick your friends carefully as you are judged by those you associate with.

On a closing note, I'd still be very curious to see where these pups she shipped originated from. I would imagine if she was shipping them then she had to have knowledge of where they came from and or pick them up from their original origin, which makes it all the worse. Especially knowing that two of the eight week old Yorkies she was shipping had just had surgery.

Yes, puppy mills are very bad, etc., but making such a statement, that is not confirmed, is wrong too.

It was confirmed that SHE shipped the pups. It was confirmed by Glenda herself right here on YT. And, the health report confirmed that two were eight weeks old with recent hernia operations. Karen gave everyone the place to contact to get copies for themselves - since the copie/s she provided were not good enough. I really have nothing else to say on this matter. Friendship is one thing Ignorance is another. Have a good week.

The Puppy Love pet store is 20 minutes away from my house. I just came across an ad in my morning paper. loveapuppy.com or captivakennel.com will get you there.
