| ![]() i just tried to look up the breeder of my dog, which I couldnt (i dont understand computers lol) and I read an article where the house of reps in my state is trying to fight puppy mills (house bill 223) and the county commisioner went to bat for the breeders saying that with such strict laws it would put legitimate breeders out of business and many of them in the sugarcreek area at least, use it as a main source of income. So yes, it DOES all come down to the mighty dollar!! I am sorry, but if that is why they are in the business, they are in it for the wrong reason! It has been said that one knows they have the right job when you would do it for free, and too many of them are cutting corners with the health of the dogs to make a profit. I doubt legitimate breeders turn too much of a profit after everything they do for the health and well being of their animals. Anyone who can look in those animals eyes and do them wrong anyway deserves punished and will be judged one day. Now I am not only sad, but angry. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() When i bought my molly i found out she had an hermia . My dog breeder told me to have it fix cause it was her responabilty to fix this since i had a health agreeament with her. She has to pay for the vet bill or go to court. Its not up to her to decide if u get a new pup or pay the bills. It your choice if u have an health agreement. Report her to the bbb in your town. Sounds like enough of u have been ripped off go after her. Sounds like we need to start getting some laws to help our little fur buddies since we don`t have people that are smart enough to do it. Sure am going to watch an see what happens to her. Don`t want to get a bunch of fur momma`s stir up . U got troubles. So glad u brought this to us. If i can help let me know |

| ![]() Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I am a very small breeder and I have 2 litters. I live in East Central Indiana near Muncie. I have several YT members who have my babies, so I can provide references. They are almost 5 weeks old now, so it will be a bit before they can leave. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks! Jill Brooks

| ![]() I have no idea but hope someone might be able to offer you info. One way to sometimes find info about a breeder is to google their name and phone number, maybe even address if you have it.

| ![]() I live in Indianapolis, not far from this breeder. If that is what you want to call her. I suggest you call the channel 6 news..WRTV (I think) indychannelDOTcom they have busted a few local puppymills. This woman could be one they have previously went after. It may take a couple of call, but it will work. I can't think of the name of the guy now who helps consumers. I'm sure someone there will get you to him. Maybe this has been suggested. I did NOT read the entire thread. Good Luck. I found this thread searching for a pup. ![]() |

| ![]() While my little one is snuggled against me I thought I should share our story. Nora is an absolute doll who was desperately sick when she was little (has been healthy for over a year now!). We fought coccidia (sp), kennel cough, and hypoglycemia. I suspect she wasn't really old enough to leave and wasn't, in fact, weaned. My vet is pretty no nonsense and constantly available...and I was in a position to be home so I could force feed her with Science Diet (prescription) every 2 hours for the first month and a half or so (via syringe)...plus a lot of nutrical and caro syrup...and pepto bismol. We got her because we needed a puppy asap (personal illness and two deaths in my family). I was honestly surprised that she made it through everything. That said, her papers say she is a yorkie but there's no way she's full-blooded. We're pretty sure she's a morkie. I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world, but I hate that she went through all that and can't imagine the pain for the people whose puppies didn't make it...I don't think there's much one can do except hold their breath and tend to them. My mom has what is reputed to be Nora's sister. The two girls couldn't be more different...as in not the same breed. Mom experienced no complications with her puppy...but mine's cuter ![]() My deepest sympathies to those who lost their little ones. If it's any solace, mine is spoiled rotten and deservedly so ![]() |
