| Recommended Vet in Southern California To all of you living in Southern California with pets I recommend going to the Golden State Humane Society for all checkups, shots, & spay and neuter services. It is a low cost non profit vet and they do a wonderful job. Shots cost about $7 and neuter or spay is $30 for any dog under 30 lbs. It definitely saves me a good amount of money! The address is: 11901 Gilbert St. Garden Grove, CA 92841. No appointments are needed unless it is for a spay or neuter.
