| Question about placing a review My experience with my breeder was beyond horrible. I have done a lot of soul searching to decide if I want to post publically. I enjoy this forum so much. The information, love and support is beyond amazing. I am torn about placing a review because on one hand I just want to forget the experience. On the other hand I dont want other furever moms and dads to have to go through what I went through. I chose a ckc registered breeder and thought I did my research. If I was to add another baby to my family after being on this forum for awhile...I would recognize all the red flags. Not all ckc breeders ...are breeding to " better" this amazing breed. Not all ckc registered breeders conduct themselves with integrity, honesty and some do breed just for the money. We often times believe what we read on websites, and dont realize that tiny details are so important...and red flags. Many of us....START out looking for tiny and we don't understand the dangers, risks to the momma or the health problems little babies can have in the future. I am rambling a bit. Here is my question. If I place a review....should I add my review to an existing review (2012) or should I start a new thread? I do not want my review to be based on emotion...facts only...is it ok to post emails received from the breeder? Thanks everyone |

| One suggestion, since you're from Canada and it's bound to come up, when you write ckc, actually write it out fully, Canadian Kennel Club. There's a ckc that is NOT reputable, something about a chair being registered as a dog... someone did it just to prove a point. Starting your own thread seems best for a review. To be fair, include the positive points, as well as the bad, of the transaction. IMO |

Continental Kennel Club (CKC) They will register mixed bred dogs based only on a photo. They do not require Parent registration. The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) is like the US AKC Make sure which CKC your pup is registered with.

| I would so your own review. Include all info, esp if you tried to contact the breeder before posting your review to see if you could get any recourse, and if the breeder responded or didn't. Also include info about the health guarantee, what it covers and for how long; that is usually the most telling info of how good or bad a breeder is. About registering a chair as a dog, some registries don't even require the photo! Just a check!
