| Christensen Kennels....Awful Do not buy from them, they are more of worst of the worst.... SHUT IT DOWN! Here it is if its taken down I have the pics and will post, please, anyone out that way start making calls to local gov't officials, humane society, building code violations, health department...get as many people as you can and picket and confront these people. These pups are waiting for SOMEONE, ANYONE to rescue them from this horrible life they are living.....ACT NOW. Report them to everyone you can, gov't agencies do have to respond to reports of violations. Does anyone out that way have the guts to stand up to this place? If you do contact me and I will be happy to tell you what and how to do it. All this crap about can't doing something is NOT true YOU can.

The kennel is in the far western suburb of Poplar Grover, IL. Very sad.

| I bet those pups are freezing if that building isn't heated. It's been chilly here in the midwest!! If you don't have to be directly in that area to report it, I'd be happy to make some calls. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I sent a private message on FB to a person who's husband is on the board of Save A Pet. This is the no kill shelter in northern ,Il that I volunteer at. She is also very involved there as we'll. they have humane investigators who may be able to help. I know from talking to the animal health people there it's very difficult to get these people on Inhumane treatment as long as they have some type of shelter and food. It's so awful. I will let you know what I hear back.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Here's the reply I got from the contact at Save A Pet. Our humane investigators are not allowed to check these types of places, the Department of Agriculture has to. They apparently have an open investigation on this place. So let's hope for a quick resolution. Dominique Hopefully, something will get done soon.

| Well...it's good to know that someone is at least investigating the place. I know they can't do much if they have food water and adequate shelter...but the key word there is "adequate." If that building doesn't have heat or air, it's definitely not adequate, especially for a yorkie with a single coat. Hopefully someone can keep us up to date on what happens. I know the USDA list has been used, more or less, as a puppy mill list, but are there any other websites that list puppymills?? If not, there should be one with a place to review and tell stories and post pics, if they got em, so places like this can be added. |
