I have the choice as a perspective buyer to accept her prices or look elsewhere(I'd look elsewhere but the price wouldn't be the deciding factor). Her sires/dams are out of standard and are unappealing for potential buyers who'd like a puppy as close to the standard as possible. Most puppies are cute, but when the puppy cuteness wears off there will be an adult dog that looks like its parents. If neither of the parents are within the standard, then that "cute" pup more than likely won't be either fully grown. |
Reputable breeders don't need that traffic. I have yet to come across a reputable breeder who uses the word teacup and I have been told by several they would NEVER want to be associated with that word it is looked down on by the ytca and other reputable breeders. What should be the most concerning is she shows very little care for her dogs by risking there lives by breeding the females under 5 pounds. I think we tend to not think about how these " teacups" are made. They are made by someone who finds small tiny dogs and breeds them no matter how there health is or whether they are standard. That is the real reason breeders who use the word teacup and breed for teacups are so unrepeatable.
