| Thank you! We are looking to buy a Yorkie for our 4.5 year old son sometime next spring, but figured that finding the right puppy with a reputable breeder would take some time. The Collier Ranch breeder was where I was figuring I'd start due to the close proximity, and am relieved to find so many consistent reviews regarding the breeder. So... Thank you. We are looking for a long term, well loved, healthy puppy to bring into our home and would hate to make such a risky choice. |

It can be done, but it takes a lot of work and vigilance.

| I agree. It can be done but under constant supervision. I have 7 grandkids, all are really good with ours except the youngest (4 years old). She loves the pups but she tends to want to carry them which is not allowed. I have been working with her so she is learning but I never leave her unsupervised with Laddy and Kyra.

| I own a dog from Collier Ranch . . . Hello, I own a dog from Collier Ranch. I have had him for 6 years now (got him when he was 12 weeks). If anyone would like to contact me regarding the health of my dog and my experience dealing with this "breeder," I would be more than happy to answer any of your questions. |

| My family purchased a Biewer Yorkie from Kelly of Collier Ranch 3 years ago. The puppy was 5 months old, was fully trained in basic commands, pee mat trained, incredibly sweet and social and was/is in good health. The breeder was considering the puppy for breeding, but changed her mind because she felt the dog would be too small and did NOT want to support the breeding of tiny, sickly undersized dogs. The wonderful puppy has become an incredible dog. She is quick to follow commands, great with children of all ages, and is an adaptable companion for all the members in our family. I would highly support getting a dog from Collier Ranch and Kelly. When you read the reviews, note that an excessive amount of them come from the same source. One final thing; when my family inquired about a puppy, Kelly contacted the owner of the dog we had meet to get her opinion of US. And she invited us to see an additional litter of yorkie pups (we were looking for a Biewer pup, similar yet different). A good breeder will make sure the puppy matches the prospective owner(s). Kelly had us sign a contract that if we ever had to part with our dog, we would return the dog to Collier Ranch for rescue placement. Good breeders care about the welfare of those pups. Investigate each breeder and always see for yourself. We are so glad we did. |
