| Michele Moore from Valparaiso IN yorkie breeder?? Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone knew or had purchased any puppies from Michel Moore before? I have talked to her on the phone. She is nice and offers a very reasonable price. Just want to know if anyone has experience with her. Hope she breeds healthy yorkie puppies. |

| Ask her if she is listed with the YTCA. Also, what sort of health guarantee does she give? What are the weights of the sire and dam? I haven't heard of her, but maybe someone else has.

I live in Valparaiso, IN. I've been to her house. My advice, don't waste your time. She doesn't breed just Yorkies, she mixes the breeds. And I was not a bit impressed with what she produces. Not a reputable breeder, in my oh-so-humble opinion. Sheila | |

| I know this is old thread but I didn't see this thread until after I spoke with her. I saw an ad for a puppy and contacted her. I didn't find her to be friendly at all. Maybe she is just gruff over the phone. She said she listed the puppy for a friend. Maybe she was annoyed she wasn't getting the business? I dunno. She gave my contact info to the friend. That woman who had the pup was very nice and we drove to see her last pup, which we did buy. The pup is adorable and we love him. He is happy and healthy. The house was clean and he was well taken care of. She was a really sweet lady and seemed a little upset when we left. I could tell she was attached to the pup. What I didn't particularly care for was, when I asked what the dog may weigh at adulthood Michele was curt and said, Well it depends on several factors such as how much you feed him". Well of course over weight dog will weight more. She seemed condescending. She told me he would max out at 6 lbs. The woman that had the dog also said 6 lbs and she said he weighed 2 lbs when we purchased him. Obviously I didn't have a scale on me but when I took him to the vet a week later, he was almost 4 lbs. The vet said he would max out at 8 or 9 lbs and couldn't have been 2 lbs a week ago. My groomer who used to breed Yorkie's said the same thing, he would be a bigger Yorkie. I wasn't looking for a show dog or anything but it annoyed me as I was hoping he would stay around 5 to 6 lbs. I feel I was lied to and I think both women knew he would be a larger Yorkie. It is what it is but I didn't care for Michele. |
