Under the Canadian Kennel Club rules, we are required to keep records of which male bred which female and the resulting puppies, which ones I kept, which ones I sold. The records must include who puppies or adults were sold to including dates, names addresses, contact information. I don't know if the AKC also requires certain minimum record keeping from breeders in the US selling AKC registered dogs. For those of you not very happy with any breeder you have purchased from and are doubtful about the record keeping of the breeder, you could write a letter contacting the AKC. I am sure the more letters they recieve the more likely they will review the breeder. As I understand it, AKC also has the right to inspect the premises and dogs etc and the breeder must pass inspection to continue breeding and selling via AKC. Just a thought anyway. |

Obviously if several people over the years have reported getting sick or their dogs died prematurely it becomes suspect. It's refreshing to hear you have 5 healthy dogs from her, would love see pictures of them and know their names...please stick around and share, I'm sure more than just myself are interested. Edit: notice the title of this section is fir breeder reviews as well... |
IMO why would someone buy a pup online from someone who has 29 dams and 14 sires?? Site unseen? I would need to know the person. If I was in the Yorkie World and traveled and showed. If I met someone at a show knew there rep then maybe? But buying for a pet I would need to go into the house. After seeing all those dogs no way. No time to properly take care of them ..unless you have alot of ppl working for you. Then it's a big business what I wouldn't support. JMO |
The thing I'm worried about is that lots of people buy her dogs for breeding. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at a site and recognized her "look" only to fine their stud has come from Natalie. That worries me because I know for a fact that her dogs have issues and now they are being bred by many people. One site said that their little stud(purchased from her) had died. I e-mailed them and let them know just a little bit about me and asked them how old their stud was when he passed away and told her my concerns. He only lived to be a year old. These short lifespans disturb me. |
We have a tiny little girl, our Kyra, who was not bought because she was tiny her parents being 4 and 6 lbs we thought she would be around 5lbs. But I personally worry about her constantly because I fear she won't get to be with us for the 14 or 15 years we are hoping for. I cannot imagine purposely looking for one who will be 2lbs after learning all I have here on YT and to breed for tinies after knowing all the health issues people have with them to me is just sad. We all as pet owners grieve so much when one of ours passes and especially when they pass at a young age. Breeders like this claim that all their dogs live in their homes and sleep with them (that is a quote from a thread a few years ago by Natalie). Come on we are not that nieve you do not sleep with 30 dogs or have them all living in your home. And then to breed dogs that you know have hereditary issues is even more wrong. |
south dakota needs to have stiffer animal welfare laws. This Breeder has been reported many times.. she likes to "send her dogs" to her friends to keep Numbers down.. I was told by one friend that she had over 60 dogs in her home at one point just one person and over 60 dogs.. how can you take proper care of that many dogs Natalie? |
My newest message My newest message from Natalie: "I have turned all your threats and emails over to my States attorney and he will be filing a suit against you for harrasment. Natalie " For the record, I have not e-mailed Natalie since I let her know what happened. She's not happy that I left her negative reviews on line, which she responded to with incorrect information and tried to have deleted. Please keep this in mind people when you consider buying one of her puppies!!!! |
1 Attachment(s) I forgot to add that this was a message sent to me through Yorkie Talk, is there a way to block her from that? I have nothing to say to her. I did see the amount of puppies she's cranking out on her site and the "adults" she's retiring because they've turned 5 and are no longer breeding potential, makes me ill. On a HAPPY note, in December I got a lovely maltese female. I couldn't do a yorkie again because it would be too hard. I already have a 7 year old yorkie female and I had heard yorkies and maltese get along well. My little girl is now 6 almost 7 months old and all potty trained and cuddly. She's not a replacement but an addition to the dogs I love and have loved in my life. I know this is a yorkie forum, that's why I didn't post her pictures earlier but I can't tell you how sweet she is! |

As a member of YT you should be respectful of others here. The fact that you are a breeder and were reviewed (poorly) doesn't give you a right to harass others, that is a violation of YT rules, which can and will take this complaint seriously. |
