I will also say she never expressed her condolences or apologized when I told her my little girl passed away and had AAI (she never even mentioned she'd had a puppy that had this before, I found that information searching online). My little girl only lived as long as she did by the grace of God and my care for her.

Then that means she is lurking here as a guest and reading OR someone emailed her and told what was being said.

Can't believe that she didn't express condolences. Her breeding caused this problem for your girl, and I am so very sorry for that.

Yeah, well first she threatened me then the next e-mail was quoting the bible.

She said that I never paid $6,000 for my dog. Nope, I didn't. I never said I did. I paid $4,500 for her, the $6,000 dog she wanted to sell me DIED before she was old enough to be shipped.

UGH. I told her to leave me alone. I can't even think about my baby without my heart aching so bad. Natalie makes me feel sick to my stomach....and angry.

My husband and I got teary seeing the commercial for Frankenweenie because the dog dies!

Amazing how people can quote so well abd obviously the comprehension of the meanings seens to illude them by the actions they choose in life.

So sorry she is putting you through this on top of all you have already been through. It amazes me when people like her want to quote our Heavenly Fathers word in their defense. I would hate to reap from what she is sowing, and reap she surely will.

Im so sorry you have to put up with additional hurtfullness.

You made a purchase of property/goods from the woman. You have every right to write a review of the transaction and the subsequent problems you experienced as a result of that transaction.

Atlantoaxial instability is an uncommon condition of dogs in which there is abnormal movement or instability in the cervical spine or neck, between the atlas (first cervical vertebra) and axis (2nd vertebra). This instability allows abnormal bending between the two bones, which causes pressure or compression of the spinal cord. The severity of the injury to the spinal cord depends both on the amount of pressure, and the duration of the condition.

The atlantoaxial joint is normally stabilized by a projection off the axis called the dens, which fits into the atlas, as well as several fibrous attachments (ligaments) between the two bones. There are two causes for the instability – trauma and birth abnormalities if it was a birth abnormality it is detected between 6 months and 1yr. If it is caused from a Trauma, Traumatic instability occurs after forceful flexion of the head, causing either fracture of the dens or other part of the axis, and/or tearing of the fibrous attachments. This form of the instability can occur in any breed, at any age. (1-6yrs of age)

I had some concerns when I first purchased my baby but a long time member with loads of posts PM'd me many times and basically persuaded me not to say anything bad about this breeder because she was a nice person. I saw a cute ad for one of Natalie's puppies. I e-mailed her and was told she was still available. I called about mailing out a deposit and was told the price had raised $500 more than she told me because she just couldn't go as low because of how much her puppies were in demand. This was $4,000 now $4,500. Which I will tell you is a couple months of our income but I wanted a yorkie for over a decade and saved and saved. I mailed out my money. Then a few weeks go by and I'm called to be told my puppy is getting larger than she expected so she's going to give me a more expensive puppy instead and sends me pictures(this one was on her site for $6,000). I'm thrilled. A couple days go by and she calls and tells me that she can't sell me that one because someone will pay MORE for it and that the original puppy is now slowing down in growth. I express my hurt saying that's not fair at all. She says she will still sell me the more expensive prettier smaller one. More time goes by(she keeps the puppies till they're a couple months old because of their size) and I'm then told my puppy had passed away, she had a bad bunch of vaccinations. BUT she has another one that is just what I'm looking for. That's the one I ended up with. Lots of flags but she had my money and I've waited so long, I'd been scammed before and honestly, my heart couldn't take the let down anymore. If ANYONE says she's not in it for the money, read the above and then tell me different.

Fast forward to getting my puppy and I'm told she had a problem with her tail but it's clearing up but it's bald and the hair will grow back. She is cute as a button. Then we all catch ringworm. She has a small cough but that goes away.

She was the love of my life(besides kids and hubby) but she did have some small problems. She had a cottony coat, constant bad breath, and now I find out AAI, which is why she only lived to 5. I did let Natalie know and her reply was that it must have not been that bad since she lived that long. She did offer me a puppy for $800. I can't risk that heartbreak again. AAI is genetic.

I have not seen any negative reviews but comb through the boards and you will find enough references to many many health problems with her dogs, references to being told they should pay more, dogs getting way bigger than she said. She almost went out of business once. Don't let anyone tell you it's not a money making venture. Check the amount of litters(although I do see her prices are about half now). My baby was 3lbs 10 oz. That's not too far off the norm of 4-7 lbs. She was a very sweet baby.

Yes, I am to fault too. I saw red flags, I paid too much. Believe me, I did not come out scott free in this. My heart is broken. I'm a genuinely nice person so I'm really easy to take advantage of and I'm gullible. I'd been scammed before. I believe what people tell me. Remember though, I have no reason to lie or exaggerate. I've been a member since 2006 and I stopped checking the board because I didn't want to end up with a 4 or 6 pack like many others. I am not a breeder, just a pet owner. I had a chihuahua who lived to be 12, a Pekingnese who lived to be 12, a long haired chihuahua who lived to be 15. I'm a long term pet owner/lover.

I'm not saying that she is not a nice person or doesn't love her dogs. Just that you need to think really hard(harder than I did) if you are thinking about purchasing from her.

Google doesn't make you a vet Natalie. It can happen at age any due to the genetic condition.

Which is why you immediately asked me who her parents were, because you've had this problem before. She also had a malformed spine where her vertebrae were too close together. She had steroids for that problem but when her condition worsened they diagnosed the AAI. She had more than one problem with her formation of spine and neck due to your bad breeding. X-rays don't lie. You do. She had just turned 5 and was babied all those years but it couldn't heal her bad breeding genetics.

STOP harassing me Natalie.

*****I hope anyone who ever considered getting a puppy from her will really read this thread through, please feel free to PM me with any further questions regarding Natalie or her harassing e-mails or details. Read not only what I have written but what others have also and what else is online about her. Does anyone think that many people are lying? For what purpose? One person is making money off selling sick puppies, other people are paying for those sick puppies and dogs to go to the vet. Who is the one not being honest...it's black and white.

I'd love if Natalie posted on this thread rather than e-mailing me. I've asked her repeatedly not to e-mail me telling me that God is going to condemn me. That's what I meant by stop harassing me. She won't stop.

Anything she has to say in her defense is very much welcome on this thread because I want people to see what she says and how she says it. It's more informative about her ethics and character and practices than anything I've written.

Good grief I can't belive that the Breeder had to ask you who the parents were. That tells me right there she doesn't know what/who she is breeding.

Again I am so sorry for all your pain and heart ache.

I do not HARASS PEOPLE. I research the matter and if this was the case why was I not notified when she was a puppy. I am not God and I can not read minds. I am very easy to get along with. If you had notified me I would have gladly let you keep your puppy and sent you a replacement. free of charge. I am only human. As far as knowing your puppy and asking you who her parents were how am I suppose to know what everyone whom has purchased a puppy names them after they leave. As I told her in her first email she had sent me after 5yrs I was extremely sorry for her loss of her dog which she does not mention.

I am so happy you could remember all the dogs you have sold to anyone and what they named them after they have left and have not heard from the person in 5yrs. I'm sorry I do not have your memory. people receive AKC papers from me with the parents names on them as well as a pedigree and that how I know my puppies. I have received no vet reports, and no proof of anything on this matter. I am so glad everyone of you take care of a problem with someone that send you no proof or justification on a problem with a puppy.
