I'm am glad you came forward with your listing because I have been looking at her site. And the reason for venturing to her site is because on the tenth she post new babies due right here on YT. I will definately not be buying there. I have a little 5 year old male that has cost upwards of $6500.00 to save his life, just back in June, and July. I love my little man so much, that if I had to deal with two heartaches at one, Just might be too much. So I Dearly Thank You for coming forward. I'm so sorry for your Heartache. Yes it is. I was looking at Debbiesdoggies also at one time, but I was told definately to stay away from there. Supposedly she had retired after a divorce, but she is back at it. So I must have the an Angel looking over my shoulder to have kept me from buying from someone not so good to animals. The only thing I hate thinking about more than anything in the world is that they don't have someone to really care for them and treat them well. It breaks my heart

Hello yorkie lovers!! Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all!! I came home from work last night to an email from Natalie Nelson. With the threat of a lawsuit for defamation of character!! Is she serious? I will tell anyone with an ear the truth about her and her pathetic breeding. I was contacted about an investigation pending against her which prob led to the sale of her business. But anyone with a brain can see Natalie is trying to keep her business going thru a woman named Tanya anthony. WHO SELLS their pets to keep the puppy mill going?!?! SOMEoNE StOP nATALIE!!

Don't worry about it Gina, she threatened me 2 years ago and yep, it never happened! She knows she wouldn't win a lawsuit, it's ridiculous! I continue to spread the word on every review site that I can. I hope I have saved a least one puppy or one person extreme heartache.

I have noticed that even though she's still cranking out the puppies, her prices are about half what they were. Hopefully, the less she makes, the less she'll continue. Doubtful though.

Wow are you kidding me...2,3,5,6, thousands for a dog....I have a maltese (beautiful) and she was only 600.00..My daughter bought a yorkie for 400.00 (which now i have) and she is only about 4 lbs and is 2 years old so i know she is not going to be any bigger..I live in WV..come here and get you beautiful puppy. full breaded..with papers..i still am in shock...

Is there a website that has a list of unethical breeders? I ask because I have a friend that will be looking for a puppy around summer time.

No, the list would be too big. You have to learn the differences between ethical and unethical breeder and pretty much assume the average breeder is a backyard breeder trying to make a buck off of a dog having babies. Buying from a backyard breeder can end up costing you way more than buying from a good breeder. Since your friend doesn't want her dog "today", she really has a good chance of finding a good breeder. If she has a certain breed in mind, she should check out the breeders listed with the Natation club for that breed, such as the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America, if she wants a yorkie. She still has to be careful and visit the home, even if the breeder looks good on paper. If she wants a mixed breed, she should visit the local shelters and rescues. Never buy a mixed breed from a breeder. Hope you can help your friend.

I'm with you 100% on Featured Breeders and also the fact that a one year guarantee may sound great to a person new to yorkies however, most genetic problems don't show up until later.

I'm well aware of the lady Stacey's go fund for Natalie's house burning down. That's called karma. Stacey appears to be clueless. I was sent an invitation for her go fund for her dog. She claims she got her dog for free from Natalie- let her pay all her own dog bills as I have. $35,000 worth!!! Natalie is evil and a poor excuse for a breeder. What a shame for all those lil yorkies!!

This is horrifying! One of my dogs is a non-show dog from DebSillers/amazing yorkies. She is from a line of Champions on both sides as are most of Debs dogs- but she just was a little shy of meeting the minimum standard weight and is just under 4 lbs. She is lovely, sweet, smart and a perfect pet. I am grateful that Deb allows her non-conforming dogs to find loving "pet only" homes. A spay neuter contract eliminates perpetuation of non-show genes effectively! There is no need to put a dog down simply because it does not reach "Show" quality. ANd there are tons of people who want the good things a show dog brings like good lines, DNA testing etc..You would have to be a cold heartless *&$! to kill puppies that could be so easily re-homed! Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am in the market for my third love bug and have only been looking at breeders of merit with AKC even though I only want a pet. I will now be on the lookout for those "ONLY" offering show quality pups. Better yet- I think I'll just get another one of Debs! I know she loves her animals and treats them well. I can't believe anyone who professes to love this breed could put down puppies like that. Especially knowing how loving and sweet these babies are. But if ANY of you "show breeders" need help advertising to find homes for non-conforming puppies- EMAIL ME! I am a singer of some note and have a social network that reaches 1000's across many different websites. I am also well known for my adorable fur babies who are taken with me frequently. My original breeder in Atlanta sold almost dozen dogs because people saw me with Chanel( My first yorkie). I know 6 of them personally who bought after they met her. I'd pass out Karen's number and tell them to say they want a "Chanel" when they called her. She used to joke about me being a walking billlboard. SO if you are a breeder who puts down dogs because they don't reach perfect show conformity and you don't know how to advertise- I WILL HELP YOU! I also have a degree in marketing! I can help create brochures, websites, ads, whatever you need to find homes for non conforming puppies. Don't be a puppy murderer! My god that is as bad as being a serial killer. #horrified #appalled

What an interesting read...I just read through all the past posts on this thread! I was also shocked to read the post about killing puppies who aren't show-quality!! :eek: I find it hard to believe. Seriously.

It's very saddening that this Natalie is still selling puppies via Facebook too. Speaking of Facebook... I tried to join a Yorkie group or two there and found many members are in those groups wanting or supporting teacup Yorkies. And from my experience, if you try to speak up about unethical breeding, they'll kick you out of the groups for having a 'non-supportive attitude'! :eek: FB has become quite the place where BYB can find their potential buyers to scam. No one wants to know the truth!

Congrats on your Deb Sillers baby. :) Would love to see photos!! I only have two and they're a handle. I applaud those with more than 2 haha...
