Oh my!!! Looking at those pics made me hold my baby closer. I'm so sorry your baby had to endure that!! I live in a small town in Louisiana and so far I've tried two different groomers. Thankfully, no burns. I hope you dog is well now :-)

Thanks for bumping it up. It's a reminder to look into who we leave our babies with, even the groomer.

Chloe and Largo, FL Groomer Thank you for keeping this in the forefront and for thinking of Chloe. I posted this and the other thread to hopefully save another dog from going thru this and save their life. Chloe is not my dog, (I have 3 boston terrorists) Chloe is a friend's baby. However, I talked my friend into finally getting the yorkie she had been yearning for...and drove her 200 miles to get Chloe. Chloe is special to me! Getting the word out is not easy; most specifically when you have a vet (the one who treated Chloe) - who still hangs the groomer's card on his counter. Had an encounter with the vet about this last time I was there with 2 of my 3 dog terrors....and when I was there last mth, the card was still on counter. Going to look for another vet - he has lost 3 patients because he feels the groomer has taken precautions this will not happen again - Hmmm, how many $ is that a year - 3 dogs - annuals, bug bites, stomach issues, - probably close to $2K a year he has lost.

Chloe and my 3 Terrorists. Chloe is doing great - altho scarred...the hair is still growing back. The vet did an awesome job, truly awesome - originally scheduled her for surgery a couple times...but her progress was magical. She has made tremendous recovery considering what the groomer did to her! All I can say, it's a good thing she isn't my dog!! He would still be digging thru the legal issues and atty's bills. How are my 3 dogs doing, lol! It's an adventure everyday. They are great...Mom wears herself out tending to their demands..I am owned and trained by 3 Boston Terrorists. Here's a pic, trying to stay warm in FL this winter (cellphone pic..not that great)
