| Wanted: Good groomer in Arizona I'm looking for a good groomer in Arizona, please. I think I'd rather not go with a mobile groomer since I feel odd about having someone come to my house (I'm not the best housekeeper in the world). I'd prefer to be able to take my Yorkie to someone's house or a store for grooming, BUT I'd like to be able to bring a magazine and stay there while they groom her, so she knows I haven't abandoned her (I just got her a couple of weeks ago after she had lived with another family for a year, and she's clearly still a bit anxious about losing another home). She's very well-behaved for bathing, brushing, etc. I just have no clue how to give her a decent puppy cut and trim her nails, which are seriously overgrown. Thank you! Anna M.C. | Sorry, I should have specified that I'm in the West valley area (Glendale). Thanks! Anna M.C. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Lol, how bad is your housekeeping if you don't want a groomer to see it? Seriously, I thought most mobile groomers did the grooming in the van, my DIL uses one because she has a lab along with her Maltese, and it's easier having someone come to her, but the dogs are groomed in the van. I take Joey to his breeders, I just don't trust some of the bigger places. I'm with you on not wanting to leave them at a store.

I didn't know about the van part. That may not help much, since she really doesn't seem to like cars. Anna M.C. | |

The weekends are slow around Yorkietalk; maybe you'll get a better answer next week if you bump the thread Monday.
