She has a KENNEL, period! Of course you like defending kennels as you purchase from them on a regular basis!

If you had joined YT some time back and then made this post, I would have given you more credibility. I'm always suspicious when newbies come on and their first (and usually only post) is to defend a breeder.

WOW!! This is a complete shocker for me! I have known Toni for about 3 years now. I work at the Vet Clinic she uses for her Yorkshires. I have also worked for her on several occasions at her house helping her to care for her Yorkshires through illnesses and surgeries to make sure they were properly taken care of twice a day. I'm a level 3 CVA tech also...so its not like she just hired someone off the streets to care for her animals. The first time I helped her i was amazed at how nice, clean and organized the Yorkshires house was. She doesn't even allow her dogs to be put on our scales or exam tables with out a towel due to her extreme concern of contacting any virus from another animal. So I'm sure you can understand my shock in reading theses horrible posts. She DOES NOT have a "kennel", and definitely DOES NOT keep her Yorkshires outside...obviously some of do not you know her and have never seen her facilities or you wouldn't even think of posting these things. I recommend knowing before you speak and and passing judgment on someone you do not know. Of all of our clients we do not have anyone who goes to the extreme to make sure her dogs are healthy and happy as Ms. Toni does. And Toni, I'm sorry these people have said these awful things about you, but don't let it upset you! You have VERY beautiful Yorkshires and you take amazing care of them. They would be lucky to have one of your dogs. I still continue to visit Ms. Ledbetter at her house on a regular basis and its always clean and organized. Its your loss if you assume these things. Ill see you next week with all the little princesses for their Annual check ups and dentals!! Keep your head up!

I have a very nice house, an elegant AND CLEAN Victorian house, that I share with my Yorkies. I call it "the kennel" when referring to where my dogs live, and I refer to my dogs collectively as "my kennel." I am a breeder and this is very common terminology. It has never been a dirty word. Please get informed. I think there are people on here who have never heard of Toni Ledbetter before. Toni built an expensive addition to her house and designed it entirely for the comfort and safety of her Yorkies. Indoor dogs pee and poop on specially designed washable pads indoors. This is the same at my house. They pee and poop, and puppies love to jump around in it. We can't be there every minute to pick up as soon as a deposit is made, but at my house nothing stays on the floor longer than a couple of hours. It's constant cleaning, laundry, disinfecting. Please don't keep this ugly thread going if you don't have first hand knowledge of the characters in it.

I have no problem with a breeder having a separate part of their house used for their dogs if that is the way the want to do it. However, the op stated that Toni took them "out" to the kennel, I believe that was to mean outside and to another building or section, one that you have to leave the primary residents to get to. That is what I have a problem with, you might not, but that is your opinion as I have mine.

The can you explain to me why my C.J. had not been examined by a vet the whole time he was in Ms. Ledbetter's care with the exception of having his tail docked and dew claws removed at 3 days old? I have the records from your office to prove it. She led me to believe he had by giving me packets of Fortiflora that she said the vet had put him on. The only thing she did was take a sample of feces in from a pup and got the Fortiflora. These records was sent to my vet.

I researched ms ledbetter before making my purchase and even emailed her past customers and got great reviews and at the time I saw no bad reviewson her website as you can see before my reviews they were all great and still after my purchase more great reviews , she was also referred to me by another reputable breeder .My puppy came to me in excellent condition I am very meticulous and with that being said i looked to make sure that her crate was clean I checked her teeth , along with a full body inspection of my new girl because just like anyone else I was getting a new puppy and needed to make sure I was satisfied with her condition .Well I was very impressed with my purchase so I gave ms ledbetter a great review based on the puppy she sold to me now I cant speak for anyone else situation but as a customer I am totally happy with my purchase I have a 5lb solid healthy female with a great bite,temperment tight knees and no health issues she has an excellent pedigree and a easy to manage coat and a great temperment I find it hard to believe that my dog could ever have been outside in urine or feces with the incredible silk coat she arrived with there were no tangles what so ever .I am sure everyone knows that if you dont take care of a dogs coat you mess it up and have to cut it,well my girls coat condition was unbelievable I have never seen a yorkies coat in the condition my girls coat was in now recently I have read several complaints on yt but unfortunately I cant be held accountable for someone else breeding I am only responsible for my breedings and I am obligated to make my customers happy. .In all my breeding experience I have never dissapointed any of my customers and have got referrals and has sold to members on yt all who are very happy I was a customer and I am not going to be accountable for something I have nothing to do with sure this situation sounds unfortunate but I am a customer in this case not the breeder so please do not bash me or involve me in this dispute .I am a small hobby breeder and I will have to make puchase from other breeders to improve my lines so I have to take a even bigger risk because I have to spend more money than the average person just looking for a pet. You gotta love how quickly things turn bad. What I want to know, is how is C.J. doing now Dixie, and the other pups that came from the "breeder" in question? I am sure he is wonderful since he has a sweet caring mommy like you! I dont see how ANYONE could ever mistreat a dog! What a crazy F*up world we live in where people think its ok to use dogs as cash crops.... its sad...
