Please do share your experience with me. I am Alysia Hicks and you sold me a male yorkie that was intended for breeding. You told me you bred him several times (which was true) at no time before receiving him did you tell me you were selling and shipping me a dog with only one descended testicle. Upon receiving him I immediately contacted you and you assured me it was fine and nothing to worry about. Well I bred him trusting you a breeder of 18 years now 14 years. And have had nothing but problems with his one and only litter I had from him. Even the female pups carried the genetic defect. And two of the male pups both had the same problem as their sire. Or the other option you gave me was to send him back (incur more charges for the plane and so on) to only get part of my money back. Well that was too late I was already in love with the poor dog. So everything is not so perfect for you Tiffany. Yes you were suspended from AKC for not supplying the paperwork they required. And also guilty of selling me a dog with a genetic defects I hope you are now actually breeding QUALITY yorkies not ones with birth defects. So please do share the not so good stories with the families you are selling these dogs too.

wow! I am sorry you had to go through that with a breeder. Its ashame what people will do in the name of money!

Sorry to hear that has happened. But do you have a name of the kennel you can share or is that illegal.

This is Tiffany Coburn, Alyssica Hicks in New Mexico has to be crazy, she bought this male about 6 yrs ago, he had a testicle that did not descend, I told Alyssica that the male only had one testicle, the other did not drop, she was informed before she every bought this male, I let her know everything up front, and she bred him anyways to females, she said she had one female and wanted a friend for her, not for breeding. Not only did she breed him once, not twice but many times! She is posting this on yorkie talk after i have not heard from her in 6 yrs! And she choice to breed him anyways. I also told her he had aggressive behavior towards females, she choice to still breed him, this could of been a hereditary trait, I did not breed this male, I bought him as a puppy, and sold him after a year because he was aggressive and did not drop. I had once accident when he breed a female, she had all females and we put them all in pet homes. No breeding rights. I then put him up for sale right away, with the facts that he was aggressive, had one testicle and was being sold as a pet, now she wants to blame me for her breeding him. Lady get a life. This is why we have backyard breeders, you just wanted to make money with him, when he was suppose to be a companion for your female. Please ignore this thread, maybe she just didn't have anything better to do after 6 yrs than to blame me for her breeding him instead of fixing him, i don't have time for this! Oh and i'm not suspended lady! call akc!

This why its important to neuter an adult dog if you are going to sell him. You never know whos going to get their hands on your dog

I have had quite a few males over the years and you are correct, they need to be altered if they have only one descended testicle. It's not about the breeding, it's about the health of the male. More health problems arise if you don't neuter him - serious health problems. They are a wonderful pet.

I'm not picking on you, but I have noticed that you are a breeder, didn't you consider this option of not breeding him even if she told you he would be fine. Of course it is a genetic defect and of course any puppies that come off of him could carry this defect. She really can not be blamed for this problem when it came to breeding him. This was your choice. You could have kepted him and neutered him since you loved him. For pet owners descended testicles are very costly and does need to be taken care for health issues. I would hope as a breeder you spayed and neutered all of his off springs prior to sell so you can stop this defect.

Hoping for a Yorkie one day that is healthy and very smart....

My question to you is why would you even think of breeding a dog with one testicle? Arent you guilty of breeding genetic faults also? I am sure you knew it was a genetic fault and will pass on from generation to generation before you bred the dog. I dont believe that all fault/guilt can be directed at the person you got the dog from. You had every opportunity to cut your losses and send the dog back or neuter him and start over. By breeding him, you are no better than the breeder that you got him from, if this is what really happened. And accordng to the other person you bought the dog from, this happened 6 years ago. How many litters have you bred with him in that amount of time and why are you bringing this up waaaaaaaaaaay after the fact?

You know I take full responsibilty for breeding him ONCE to my only female. Tiffany stop trying to make yorself look better then what you are. You know you sold me him with intentions of breeding. Once I got him I told you I was going to fix him and you said NO dont do that send him back if thats the case. If needed I will post the emails and documents you sent me stating he was good for breeding. I am guilty of trusting a BREEDER (as she sates). I was only starting out and she knew this. This was my first time ever breeding yorkies. Tiffany told me he was an aggressive breeder not towards females. And thats a lie too. He wasnt aggressive to females only to males. I took that as him being a stud dog. I only hope she doesnt scam any other people. Thats the reason I am posting this. ANd to get another fact straight, I bought him from her in 2004 so thats only 4 years ago. Over the years I have tried to contact Tiffany and she never responded. Her website was taken off so I had no other way to contact her. I'm not like you Tiffany!!! I dont lie!!! Please just becareful dealing with her. Thats the main reason I am posting this. If I wanted a pet only I would have bought locally! Not over state and spent so much money on him! Tiffay you know you are lying. You wanted to make your money back from him. He was an absolute lover and I loved him. Im not a puppy mill. I bred and have dogs because I love them not because I am trying to make a living. Unlike Toffany Coburn. Thsi is your income and you only breed for that purpose. Yeah you say you have show dogs well that mught be the case but you didnt get tehre by be ing honest and trustworthy. I have read other negative posts about Tiffany Coburn. And her only defense is that the people posting are crazy. I think she is the crazy one. If she would just admit what she did I will not say anymore. She doesnt have to do it publicly either A simple email to me would be fine. Tiffany you know what you did and are is wrong so stop trying to act like your right!

I am surprised that he wasn't neutered. He was allowed to breed with one of your females and then, you sold him intact.

Tiffany, I do believe that you should have neutered the male Yorkie before sale and I recall reading on your site that you sell only to pet homes so you were well aware that Alysia was going to breed the male.

Alysia, as a breeder you should know that by breeding the male Yorkie, the genetic defects would be passed down. If you loved that Yorkie so much, you should have neutered him and kept him as a house pet only.

I agree with you. I believe both parties were aware of the issues with this male. Now they both want to place blame on each other when it really belongs to both equally.

First of all, lets start all over, this dog was sold about 5 yrs ago!!!!! And she post this on yorkie talk NOW after i have not heard from her in 5 LONG Years, so everyone who feels they need to post on this topic please do so, I have more important things than to keep responding to this worn out thread! The vet said give the dog a year to see if he dropped his testical, so we did, did we breed him on purpose during the time we were waiting to see if he dropped, the answer is NOOOOOOOO! Why would i do that, when i have CHAMPION males to breed to than to a puppy with one testical?? at 7 mths he tied a female of ours, with no intentions on this happening, but accidents do happen, there isn't a breeder on here who can not say an accident has happen. People are so judgemental now days, don't judge me for GOD has not given you that power to do so. only he can judge, so when my day comes its not going to be about what you people think, its what i have done good in my life that gets me to his gates of heaven. Now when this male was sold, she was told he was aggressive to females, and had one testical, and would need to be neutered because it could cause cancer if not removed. Did she breed him knowing this yes she did. When she got the male everyone knows to take your dog to the vet within 48-72 hours, he would of told her the same thing, but she didn't, she decided to breed him anyways. So am i responsible for this?? NO I AM NOT! Should i of neutered him before he left, yes, but i sold him for 700.00 as a pet companion so she could afford to do it herself with her vet she felt comfortable with. She states herself I told her if she felt uncomfortable with him, because she did know up front he was aggressive to send him back, like any responsible breeder would, she said she had to much money in him, she bought him for 700, i would pay for him to ship back and give her money back to her, so how is she out so much money?? don't make sense to me. I am not a puppy mill as she states, i have 9 yorkies, and they are show producing and champion dogs, i don't breed for profit, anyone knows who shows it can take up to 10,000 to just champion out a dog with a handler, so how am i making money??? i do this for a hobby, and its an expensive one at that! i put more money into showing my dogs than i ever will making any profit. Second of all we have proven ourselves over the years with our westminister bloodlines, our champion bloodlines, and our import bloodlines, i don't need a back yard breeding telling me anything. This will be my last post and if anyone want to continue, please do so, because i have much better things to do in life than to have someone bash and judge me, may GOD Bless you all!

THE OP IS WRONG! please call the american kennel club somebody! ask about me, see if i am suspended, they re-instated me due to an error, not on my behalf, their number is 919-233-9767, this is customer service, ask if tiffany coburn is suspended. PLEASE! then you can come back on this thread and post that you found out i am not suspended!

I searched the name.. I didnt find any dog show results. I wanted to see who her dogs were out there winning and who they were beating.

Both her and her husbands (Mr Floyd Coburn) has been revoked. I see nothing that states that its been reinstated online however.

It states something about record keeping and multiple breeds

You know what shouldnt care I would never by a dog from you anyway. You sold a male for breeding that had one testicle. If you knew he was not correct and you sold him as an adult he SHOULD of been neutered. If you did you wouldnt be here defending your self now, would you? You should always protect your lines and now that you sold this male he was bred (without your permission or not) and he has reproduced pups with his same health issues.

wow this has gotten intense. We can all blame each other, but maybe we can think of it this way the knowledge is out in the open know about the dog and you have an amazing little furbaby to care for. I know this isnt exactly the same, but it's like when your pregnant adn your doctor tell you your baby has a defect, but you decide to have the baby and after a few years you get mad at the doctor. He was born with this and i bet he is amazing. I know you are hurt about the alleged deception, but at least he is alive and you love him.

I don't know what the whole purpose is of this thread! It is obviously something that happened years ago. Why bring it up now? It is something that should have been taken care of, or forgotten, long ago. The OP has a dog she loves, end of story. The only reason I can see that this thread was started, is to stir-up trouble!
