| ![]() Good point bjh. The more time that passes with nothing more from the OP, the more I question their post. Now I'm starting to feel like an idiot for replying in the first place ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

YT Addict | ![]() I prefer action to reaction. Reaction accomplishes nothing. She should go and give them back the dog like they asked. That's what I would do and then demand my money back and I would take a lawyer with me and serve them a court notice, or prehaps the ASPCA or heck even the cops if they would show up. I would even file a complaint that they killed my dog. It might not be true but they'd have to investigate the claim and if they are a puppymill they'd get busted. |

I bonded to my girls within the 1st 24 hours - and I also had a bad experience with Chanels breeder - as have others who didn't know better like us... ....back in 2002 when we got Chanel we had a very scary 1st week - - from what I see even now - her breeder has only got worse in her selling practices

if they were expose to parvo before they purchase it it could very well have happened.I think the incubation period is from7-14 days.

you will fall in love with these puppys and alot of times even if they are sick and you try to get compensation for the puppys they won't give. There are alot of cases where people just don't say anything because they figure it won't help. You have to start saying things when you don't get help from the breeder. if the breeder blames it on other things and don't want to be responsible for the puppy then its time to make a stand.Let it be known!! I wish akc would pass a law that any puppy being sold with akc papers would have to have a clean bill of health before they were sold. but it won't happen as it is a money making racket. so sad. kathy

Will lie till the end. Say things like they have nerver had any other problems occuring before or other puppies were just fine. If they cannot supply you with info. and better yet have a wellness examine done from a certified vet I would not give them the time of day. Its very sad that you have to get a bad breeder and unfournatley they seem to get away with this. I do not know personally how they live with thereselves knowing. I would think if they were at all caring they would want to do what ever it takes to make it right. No you can't bring back the puppy but you need to be fully compensated!!

| ![]() Hi everyone, this is Monica..the "breeder" of this puppy. There's alot of you who make judgements based on what another says but the truth is....this person broke the sale agreement we had when she purchased this puppy. My guarantee CLEARLY STATED that if the puppy had any congential defects, or any type of illnesses that ANTIBIOTICS OR MEDICINE CANNOT FIX, the BUYER MUST CONTACT THE SELLER AND RETURN THE PUPPY WITHIN 48 HOURS OF PURCHASE. IF THE BUYER CHOOSES THE KEEP THE PUPPY OR HAVE THE PUPPY TREATED WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE SELLER, THE SELLER IS RELEASED FROM ANY RESPONSIBILITIES OR MEDICAL BILLS THE BUYER HAS INCURRED. THE PUPPY WILL BE REPLACED WITH ANOTHER THAT IS OF SIMILIAR SIZE AND GENDER WHEN AVAILABLE. NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Now, this woman called and told me that the puppy had parvo, coccidiosis, blah blah blah. I offered her to return the puppy to me and we would work something out. I dont mind refunding her money IF the sick puppy was returned to me with the vet's statement regarding the puppy's condition. I never heard from her again, but instead she had some guy who claimed to be her lawyer threaten to refund her money or they would take me to court. I needed to see my puppy. I AM NOT GOING TO REFUND ANYONE THEIR MONEY UNLESS THE PUPPY IS RETURNED TO ME. In this case, the puppy was not. I was willing to go to court with this woman because she broke a SIGNED agreement that clearly listed all the conditions. She SIGNED in agreement that she understood ALL CONDITIONS before purchasing the puppy!!! Did she ever go thru with the lawsuit....NO! Have I ever heard from her or her lawyer again....NO! Did I lose a puppy due to all this mess...YES! Was it something that couldve been worked out...YES! So people, please dont pass judgements on breeders unless the person tells their faults too. =( FYI, Im not a puppy mill. I just have a male and 2 females that sometime get together and have puppies..If thats what you consider a big breeder, so be it! I also took the rest of that litter to vet after hearing the puppy had parvo, all tested negative! I also had a written statement from the vet stating that all puppies were tested w/ results the SAME DAY the woman called! So if she still would like to take me to court, BRING IT ON! Its real sad that there are people out there that are selfish and dont want to take responsibilities when things go wrong. And then.. they want it for FREE! Thats what I saw in this case. She couldnt handle the fact that small puppies go into hypoglycemia when undergoing alot of stress esp when changing environment. She let the puppy's blood sugar get too low to state of fatality. And then she wants her money back. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
