is that the time when there thing (unsure if i can say that word) gets all swollen up? arent they in heat for 3 wks or so? when is the best time for them to lock it (breed)? is it during bleeding time or..?

You can always use belly bands so that your boys are permitted to wander around the house a little more and aren't so confined.....this is what we do. Before making the decision to breed, I definitely suggest that you do some reading. There is tons of information on the web and wonderful books that you can pick up as well. If you can find a mentor in your area, I would highly suggest doing so before you breed your dogs. Good luck!

yes, i also use belly bands as well, i bought one last yr for my male and female.. i did the research last yr when i got them but i kinda forgot all about it.. i will do more research to refresh my memory i will also try to find some on in my area to be my mentor, if anyone is willing to help do u happen to know any1 im MD area by any chance??
